In news no one saw coming, Married at First Sight Australia season 11's Tori Leigh Adams and Jack Dunkley have announced their split.
The couple, who were married in last year's show and had one of the most dramatic journeys on the series, took to Instagram earlier today (28 March) to share the news of their breakup.
In a joint statement that was shared on both their grids, the pair revealed they ended their romantic partnership a few weeks ago, but still remain close as friends.
"Hey everyone, if you have been following our journey, you know we have always been authentic and true to ourselves," they said. "We have invited you in and brought you along for the wild ride.
"However, today we come to you with heavy hearts. As of a few weeks ago we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We remain the best of friends and still care for and respect one another deeply."
The pair then went onto thank their families and followers for their support of the relationship: "We are so grateful to have shared so many wonderful experiences together and will cherish them forever. We thank our families for their unconditional love and support.
"We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support that you guys have shown us throughout. With love, Tori and Jack xox."
The couple met on season 11 of Married at First Sight Australia, where they were one of the first couples paired together to tie the knot and marry a stranger. Their wedding day went well and there was an initial connection between the two.
However, as the experiment continued there were issues over intimacy, with Jack expressing his worries over their lack of sexual compatibly, and not feeling a spark with Tori.
They faced a lot of heat from the group who constantly questioned their relationship, which in turn caused the pair to grow closer to each other. At one stage in the experiment they ended up getting matching tattoos.

When the show was approaching its end point, the couple were not in agreement about how their relationship could progress when they both moved home, as they were several hours away from each other. While Tori was keen to organise travelling every weekend to see Jack, he, however, was on the fence about this arrangement.
Despite their various challenges and obstacles the couple did agree to commit to each other and leave the experiment together.
Following the series release the couple continued to date and last year celebrated their one year anniversary.
Here's hoping they're both doing OK following the split.
