Vice President Kamala Harris canceled her appearance on Wednesday on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime show, after Bravo had to scramble to rearrange a reunion show for “The Real Housewives of Potomac” that was shooting at the same Manhattan studio.

Page Six exclusively reported that the Secret Service planned on closing down West 26th Street in NYC for Harris’ arrival on Wednesday for a taped appearance on “Sherri.”

But Shepherd announced to fans that the Veep couldn’t make it.

“Vice President Kamala Harris was supposed to get in her vice presidential chopper and fly from D.C. to New York to be here with us,” the disappointed host said. “But because of the weather, she could not fly out to be here with us in person.”

Shepherd added in the video clip from her show’s set: “I was so disappointed… but here is the thing, when you are the second most powerful person on the planet, they don’t let you fly if there is anything. So they would not clear her to take off.”

Bravo — which was filming its “RHOP” reunion in the same studios — had to schedule its shoot for earlier in the day to accommodate Harris’ security team, including a 4:30a.m. start time, we reported.

The Bravo reality reunion was on the same soundstage where “Rachel Ray” once previously produced.

We also hear that Harris’ absence threw “Sherri” producers into “panic.”

Said an insider: “It was total panic behind the scenes because they only had two hours to change the show.”

The source added: “The entire hour was dedicated to the Vice President. Ultimately, since Sherri is a standup comic, they opted to give her double monologues — and it allowed her to make fun of everything that had transpired.”

Our source also told us: “The show’s executive producer, Jawn Murray, came out and broke the news,” that Harris’ flight was not allowed to take off. The insider said that “the studio audience… initially seemed devastated. However he shared how the producing team was pulling ‘Matrix’-like moves behind the scenes to make sure they still had a good time, and the audience cheered and applauded.”

And in the end when “Harris was a no-show,” “Bravo executives were pissed because their original arrangements could’ve remained the same,” said a source.

“The ladies [of ‘RHOP’] were not happy with their earlier, new call times — and neither were their glam teams — but they still got paid, because a job is a job!”
