Shep Rose waxed sentimental about his love life when he appeared at Bravo Fan Fest as he discussed where he currently stands with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green. The topic came up during the I'll Tell Ya How I'm Dating, Not Well, B*tch! panel on Nov. 23, as he reflected on his romantic life, past and present.
"No, no, we're not [talking]. She doesn't want to contact me. I don't know why," he shared, noting that he thinks they've had some issues navigating a friendship amid Taylor's relationship with Gaston Rojas. "I understand, I respect that. Me personally, I would root for her. I will continue to root for her if she needs anything for the rest of her life. I'm there for her and I love her family and I still communicate with her mom. Sometimes we talk and so it's very, deep roots and I mean, it was the longest relationship I've ever had."
Shep went on to share there have been times he's wanted to reach out to Taylor but didn't. "And I don't know, man, it's really hard honestly because I wanna text her sometimes and I had a dream that she was in and it was very benign. She had made lettuce wraps and they were really good and we were laughing and eating lettuce wraps and I wanted to call, text her just so stupid, but like I asked somebody and they're like, do not do that."
Who is Shep Rose dating?
While fans will get to follow Shep's romantic journey in the upcoming Season 10 of Southern Charm where viewers will get to meet his love interest, Sienna, he shared more on his path to find romance in Miami at Bravo Fan Fest.
"So, obviously, Taylor and I's relationship ended and I was convinced that I wouldn't meet anybody that I felt strongly about for a while. I don't know why. I thought that I was just like, it's hard to find. But sometimes it can happen right on top of each other. And I thought that was this and I was super optimistic and we were saying very, very nice things to each other," he said. "It was interesting. Long distance is tough though."
Overall, he said when it comes to finding love overall he goes into situations as "optimistic and I like seeing the good." When it ends though, he noted, "Usually it's my fault, honestly. I'm a dumbass."
