Bachelor Nation fans got to know Serene Russell on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Serene has been keeping fans updated about her life via social media.
Recently, she announced online that she has decided to freeze her eggs and posted a TikTok sharing about her journey.
In the new video, Serene said, “I have an announcement to make and I am so excited to finally get to share this with you guys because it’s been in the works for almost a year now.
I have decided to freeze my eggs.”
Serene revealed that she decided to freeze her eggs to give herself more options.
She said, “I really just wanted to empower myself as a woman and take my fertility into my own hands. And give myself more choices for the future.”
Serene also shared that the company she’s working with has two programs and she will be partaking in the one that provides lower prices on storage and gives her access to a support community.
“I just think that everyone should have access to this information,” she expressed.
At the end of the video, Serene stated that she plans on giving updates on her egg-freezing journey via social media and will do her best to answer any questions that fans might have.
She also expressed how this decision has made her feel and said, “I’ve honestly never been happier and more excited. This is my future and my future children and it just feels so empowering.”
