See What Phaedra Parks Told a Producer About Ex-Husband Apollo: "Just Being Honest" liennhi

While Phaedra Parks doesn't necessarily have a problem with Apollo Nida, she'd probably rather not spend her free time with her ex-husband. To be fair, he's not even allowed in her house! Not that Dr. Heavenly Kimes seemed to get that memo.

During Season 11, Episode 9 of Married to Medicine, Heavenly asked Phaedra if she could invite Apollo on their trip to Key West, Florida ... even though she'd already floated the idea by him. And while the lawyer didn't seem completely opposed to the new guest during their call, she shared some more of her thoughts in a confessional.

"Are you ultimately OK if he comes? Even if it's not your first choice?" asked a producer in a confessional interview. "I don't, I don't, I don't know," Phaedra responded. "I mean ... just being honest."

Phaedra ultimately told Heavenly that she thought the guest list should be a surprise, and they agreed they'd have a great trip regardless.

Phaedra Parks' date had a connection to her ex

It seems Apollo just keeps coming up. Earlier in the episode, Phaedra stepped out for a date with Cheick, "a beautiful, tall glass of hot chocolate" who she met at Lateasha "Sweet Tea" Lunceford's Sweet and Savory Speed Dating Event a week prior.

"I know your ex," Cheick told the lawyer after presenting her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. "Yeah? A lot of people know him. He's a man about town," she coyly responded.

As it turned out, Cheick was also close with Apollo's wife, Sherien Almufti. While he noted that they don't "hang out," they always say hi when they see each other.

"I think being transparent about knowing someone's wife is very important. But it doesn't bother me at all. Apollo's married, I've definitely moved on, so I don't see a problem with it whatsoever," Phaedra shared in a confessional.

Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida's relationship history

After five years of marriage, Phaedra and Apollo broke up in 2014. Their divorce was finalized in 2017, and Phaedra hasn't looked back.

"I don't ever want to be married again. I'm very happy single and satisfied," she added in her confessional.

The two do stay in contact, though. They have a coparenting relationship thanks to their two sons: Ayden Nida, 14, and Dylan Nida, 11, that Phaedra has previously said is "going great."
