See Ciara Miller's Stunning Reaction to Carl Radke's Crush Confession: "I Just Can't..." tram

Carl Radke is finally confessing his feelings for Ciara Miller, and as you can see in the video above, she's stunned by his admission.  

In the preview of Season 9, Episode 12 of Summer House, airing Wednesday, April 30 at 9/8c on Bravo, the Soft Bar owner sits down with the model at the first annual Snooze Fest party and catches her up on his current dating life. He reveals that he's hooked up with someone for the first time since breaking up with ex-fiancée Lindsay Hubbard, and then smoothly hinted that maybe they should go on a date.

"I need a brunette, Ciara," Carl says, before adding, "You need a brunette."

Clearly stunned, Ciara takes a second to respond, "You're not wrong."

After the two jokingly continue the conversation, the subject becomes more earnest as Carl states that he genuinely wants to see if there could be something more than friendship between them.

"I mean, you're f--king beautiful," he says. "You're an incredible person. I feel like I should just let you know, I kinda have a crush on you."

Clearly a bit caught off guard, Ciara replies, "Thanks. I appreciate that."

Carl continues to explain that he's not just attracted to her good looks, but also who she is as a person. He describes her as "incredibly emotionally intelligent" and "very smart." Plus, he says, "You have good morals and you care about s--t that matters, right?"

On top of all those attributes, Carl says, "The fact that you are a nurse, I think speaks so much more about who you are deep down." 

And these aren't new feelings for Carl. He notes that he's always thought that Ciara was "an amazing person." However, he adds, "I've always thought that I don't have any shot in hell. I mean, do you ever look at me and think, 'Carl, I don't know?'"

Why Ciara Miller says she won't date Carl Radke

Though Ciara is flattered by Carl's admission and used to be attracted to him, she says that she won't jeopardize her friendship with Lindsay, who she's gotten closer to in recent months. "I love her pregnant. This is the best we've gotten along. This is my favorite version," she shares.

More importantly, Ciara doesn't feel that now is the time to test out a relationship with Carl when Lindsay is heavily pregnant. "We're like all very kind of protective over her now. And I just can't be stepping on people's toes," she reasons.

Moving forward, Ciara hopes to date someone who is not from their friend group, saying, "I need to meet a complete stranger to the world."

Carl handles the rejection with ease, sharing that it's a bummer but he totally gets it. Plus, he says, "You could date a little bit and then you'll realize how solid I am."

What does West Wilson think of Carl Radke hitting on Ciara Miller?

West Wilson found out about Carl's admission to Ciara when the moment was teased in the midseason trailer, telling Decider that it was "shocking" to see for himself. "I didn't even know. No one told me that that happened in the house," he said.

But West doesn't seem to take the situation to heart, describing Carl's actions as "kind of cute." He continued, "Like, that's cute of him."

"Ciara and I, at this point, have not been together for a while," he added. ​"And we're all grown-ups. I think it'd be fine."
