In April 2022, Chelsea Meissner moved into a 1950s ranch-style home and did a "MAJOR renovation". Since then, we've seen the incredible details of the Southern Charm alum's fabulous home, from her brightened-up front porch area to her baby's adorable nursery to her backyard transformation (more on that in a bit). More recently, Chelsea revealed another renovation project that took her bathroom to the next level.
"I got bored," Chelsea hilariously wrote over a November 13 Instagram Story which showed her bathroom in the process of an aesthetic overhaul. Chelsea took out the old mirrors but appeared to have left her white marble countertop, white cabinetry, and gold faucets.
In the next snapshot, Chelsea revealed the finished result: she covered the walls with a peach wallpaper that featured an emerald green and orange pattern that looked like a bird or feathered figure. She also added new light-up mirrors, a hanging white bowl for towel/washcloth storage, and a gold tray for different toiletries and other storage items.
Definitely not boring!
Chelsea Meissner's Backyard Transformation
In addition to her bathroom, back in 2022, after she moved into the home, Chelsea transformed her backyard by adding a pool, hot tub, and more greenery and plants.
“Big shout out to my landscaper and good friends [Dabney & Sons Landscaping LLC]. They turned a mud pit into a fairytale backyard and I could not be more in love,” Chelsea captioned an Instagram video that revealed the before-and-after details of the backyard. The outdoor space also included beautiful furniture with cream-colored cushions and black-and-white pillows.
Southern Charm cast member Craig Conover, who has also updated his backyard splendidly, reacted in the comments section, writing, “This looks so good!”
Chelsea Meissner's Charleston House Details
In January 2023, Chelsea gave a full tour of her gorgeous home in a video shared via YouTube.
"This is actually my third home that I've owned but only my second true renovation," she shared in the video tour. "This house, though, was my first renovation that was a full gut. It's not really something that I ever thought about doing for a living but I knew I had that artistic ability and wanted to give it a go and see how it turned out."
Chelsea added of the changes she made to the space: "We pretty much took this entire house down to the studs. I got all new windows, all new doors. It was a large renovation."
