The Washington Capitals are beginning to roll out their initiatives for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. One of the first promotions is a familiar and popular giveaway.
The Capitals, in a press release, announced they are giving away yard signs inspired by the team’s 50th anniversary season and the start of the postseason. The signs feature the Weagle logo with the number 50 worked into the wings. A banner that reads “Capitals fans live here” sits underneath along with the slogan, “ALL CAPS. ALL IN.”
The playoff yard signs, per the Capitals, are to pick up at the Medstar Capitals Iceplex and Capital One Arena Team Stores beginning on Friday, April 18 during normal store hours. The offer is limited to one item per person and while supplies last.
The Capitals also recently did a lawn sign giveaway to celebrate Alex Ovechkin’s chase of the NHL goals record. The signs read “Watcing the GR8.”
