Scheana Shay spilled the tea on the latest episode of her Scheananigans podcast.
Titled 'VPR Season 11 Final Thoughts,' she talked about the fan backlash to the season, hinting that fans might not have gotten a season 11 without her and Lala Kent.
The Good as Gold singer, 39, revealed that an off-screen conversation with one of the show's producers changed the course of VPR history.
'It was a whole season of feeling like we all kind of had to walk on eggshells. I know Alex Baskin has said that midseason, the show was not in a good place,' Scheana said.
'It was, you know, ‘X, Y and Z needs to happen. Or we’re going to have a short season and the show’s going to be canceled and that’s it, ' adding, 'I think Lala and I felt a lot of pressure after that day when it was like, "Well, we don’t want the show to get canceled."'

That conversation led to the cast members going to Tom Sandoval and questioning his behavior.
That act led to the revelation of his affair with Raquel Leviss, the Scandoval tag and the ratings explosions for the show.
Seaaon 11 picked up three months after the affair was uncovered and while the cast initially all sided with Ariana Madix, as the season went on, some started to see Sandoval's side of things.
The season 11 reunion ended with the cast split, loyalties tested and the fate of the show hanging in the balance.
Bravo has put the usual summer taping of Vanderpump Rules on pause for several reasons, including Ariana's Love Island hosting gig that shoots in Fiji in the summer.
Producers also wanted to give the cast a break after the breakneck pace of the second half of season 11 and the first half of season 12, TMZ reported.
Lala is facing backlash after the season 11 reunion for the way she verbally attacked Ariana.
'Watching it back and this is not me – even though people will probably say it is – trying to backpedal or gain 1 percent of the audience back. I think I’ve lost who I’ve lost, and maybe there will be a season 12, and people will understand more of me,' Lala explained on her Give Them Lala podcast.
'But I feel like with Ariana walking away, after we filmed the reunion and all of that, I do feel a little differently,' she added.

Lala caused a ruckus on the reunion special and Ariana walked off set.
'Scheana [Shay] you said that s*** to me [about how Tom Sandoval does more for you] off camera. Can we be done? I am like so f***ing done,' Lala said standing up outraged.
'This is not fun for me to look around and I am the only one that I feel has been honest.'
At one point, moderator Andy Cohen showed the cast the final moments of the finale including Kent accusing her castmate Ariana Madix of having a 'God' or 'Beyoncé' exalted complex due to increased fan support and opportunities stemming from her 'Scandoval.'
