It’s been 15 years since TOWIE propelled Sam Faiers to fame and since then she’s appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and even landed her own fly-on-the-wall show The Mummy Diaries.

However, Sam quit reality TV back in 2021 when she revealed she was leaving The Mummy Diaries – which also starred her sister Billie Shepherd – as her family ‘needed a break from it all’.

Four years on it’s been revealed that Sam is returning to reality TV for a brand new show alongside Billie and we can’t wait.

ITV have commissioned Sam & Billie: Sister Act, which will follow the sisters’ personal and professional lives as they juggle the next phase of their careers, relationships and motherhood.

While not much is known about the series at the moment, it is expected to air on ITV2 later this year.

Sam and Billie will be reuniting on-screen for the first time since Sam quit The Mummy Diaries.

At the time, she broke the news on Instagram. ‘To my wonderful followers and supporters of The Mummy Diaries over the past 7 years, after many months of consideration, I've decided that now feels like the right time to step away and to focus on new adventures,’ Sam wrote.

‘I truly have watched all the most defining moments in my adult life play out on The Mummy Diaries - bringing two beautiful children into the world, my relationship with Paul, building my businesses, creating a home together as a family, and of course all the wonderful memories with Billie and my family.’

She added, ‘For those of you wondering why, and this is the honest truth; I always said when the children start school, I would reassess the situation and this wasn’t an easy decision to make by all means but I’ve decided I would let my family take a break from it all.

‘For me personally TV has been my career for the last 11 years, you have watched me grow up since I was 19 and I don’t plan on retiring yet.’

During her break from TV, Sam launched her ingestible skincare brand Revive Collagen – which has even been supported by Kim Kardashian.

Sam also traded Essex for Surrey and previously told Closer that she can’t see herself returning back to her home county.

She said, 'I don’t think we would ever move anywhere else in England. I just feel like this is home for me now. I always visit Essex. I’m probably there a couple of times a month, because obviously all my family still live there. But I think at this stage in life, you are in your little bubble. It’s me, Paul and the kids.'
