Ruth Langsford glams up for night partying with pal before jetting Down Under after being signed by I’m A Celeb bosses ngocc

RUTH Langsford has been spotted looking very glam for a night partying with pals, before she jets off Down Under after being signed by I’m A Celeb bosses.

The Loose Women star, 64, will fly to Australia later this month to support her co-star Jane Moore, 62, who is appearing as a contestant in the ITV series.

And before her next telly gig, the presenter let her hair down on a night out with close pal Lizzie Cundy.

The TV star cut a stylish figure in all black, as she was pictured leaving swanky London restaurant 34 Mayfair.

Ruth partnered her black jacket, top and trousers with some silver shoes and a silver clutch, and sported a very glam makeup look.

And Lizzie oozed style too, in a red dress and thigh high boots of a matching colour.

Next up, Ruth will be heading over to Australia for her stint Down Under.

An insider said: “It’s been a tough year for Ruth and she’s been putting her best foot forward, she’s thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas.

“She’s rooting for Jane and can’t wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on.

“The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she’ll be amazing and give the new format a boost.”

Other celebrities to appear on the sister show, hosted by Sam Thompson, Joel Dommett and DJ Kemi Rodgers, include former Queen of the jungle Jill Scott, 37, and Coronation Street actor Colson Smith, 26, who will be supporting his soap colleague Alan Halsall, 42.

Last weekend Belfast-born star Eamonn, who has been using a wheelchair amid health issues, said: “It’s been a tough year and I’ll be glad to see the back of it.

“There are lots of things to be grateful for and I hope that my health improves next year. That would be a wonderful thing.”

Ruth and Eamonn's  28-year relationship and 14-year marriage collapsed earlier this year.
