RTE Dancing With The Stars viewers were all left talking about the judges "harsh" scores.
Hosts Jennifer Zamparelli and Doireann Garrihy returned on air tonight to host week two of season eight of the glamorous show.
Mickey got 14 points tonight
Arthur gave some honest opinions on the stars' performances tonight
Karen told Mickey she's 'obsessed' with him
Judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry, Arthur Gourounlian, and new addition to the panel, Karen Byrne were back with their honest opinions.
Singer Mickey Joe Harte and his pro partner Daniela Roze were second to perform in tonight's show.
The pair danced the jive to Mickey by Toni Basil and unfortunately failed to impress the judging panel.
Arthur said: "I appreciate the effort but it landed a little bit flat for me. I wish it was like a basketball bouncy and jive is very energetic.
"But I have to say I'd say mickey I love your energy and enthusiasm."
Brian remarked: "Listen for me Mickey, two weeks two different performances but the same issue. With both of them we've got brilliant energy all the way through. I think you just need to tidy things up a little bit."
While Karen added that she loves how he "attacks everything" but agreed with Arthur and thought he needed "more power".
Mickey jokingly added: "I'm just thinking it's not a stiff Mickey you're looking at this week, it's a sort of tired and sore Mickey.
Karen replied: "I'm not surprised after that."
While Loraine finished off the segment saying: "I am sorry to say this because I know how hard you work but I just don't think it's your night."
And celeb chef Kevin Dundon, got even worse reviews and the lowest score of the season so far at 13 points, with Brian giving him just two points.
Kevin and his pro dancer Rebecca Scott danced the samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings.
Karen told Kevin that she "absolutely loved it" but added: "If I'm honest, it doesn't quite get the chef's kiss of approval. It was a little bit overcooked now. But, Kevin, I'm obsessed with you, I love you."
Lorraine said: "Volare means to fly, and you were certainly flying tonight. You were flying around the room, as Karen said, just so fast in that. But it didn't quite have the samba action that I would absolutely look for. However, I love someone who has a go, and you certainly had a go tonight."
Arthur added: "We know it's not the easiest dance to do. And with your hip movement, it felt like it was unnatural and a little bit uncomfortable. But you know, you never give up. I love that."
NOT SO ICONIC
However, Brian who gave Kevin a 2 out of 10, gave the most ruthless opinion saying: The word iconic, it's sort of a strange word. You know, Riverdance was iconic, Fred and Ginger were iconic, And this was iconic. Just not, in my opinion, for the right reasons.
"At one point, I thought somebody had connected the mains electricity. But there's so many steps going on.
"One bit of good news, though. Nobody's going home tonight."
RTE viewers felt the judges scores could have been a little "harsh".
One fan said: "13? F***ing he’ll that was a bit harsh."
Liam wrote: "Very low scoring tonight so far..
Anthony tweeted: "Mickey Joe bringing wild dad energy to this year's competition & I'm all here for it."
Denise said: "Ah Mickey Joe brings a bit of craic to the dance floor, to be fair. He’ll definitely be one of those improved dancers as time goes on, I think!!"
