THE SIXTH celebrity has been axed from Dancing With The Stars tonight.
The popular RTE show returned tonight with the highly anticipated Country Week, which saw its sixth celebrity elimination of the season.
Kevin and Rebecca were eliminated from the competition tonight
RTE viewers and the Dancing With The Stars team were gutted to see him leave
The six celebrity contestants hit the dance floor for another performance hoping to impress both judges and viewers again tonight.
Judging panel, Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry, Arthur Gourounlian and Karen Byrne were back to give their hard-hitting opinions on tonight's performances.
Elaine Crowley, Mickey Joe Harte, Joanna Donnelly and Yasmin Seky and Gearoid Farrelly were the first five celebrities to be eliminated.
And celebrity chef Kevin Dundon was the sixth celebrity to leave tonight.
Kevin and his partner Rebecca Scott danced the Charleston and managed to get 21 points.
But sadly it wasn't enough and after their dance off with Aishah, they were voted out by the judges.
After the result was revealed, head judge Loraine Barry said: "Please lets take a moment for Kevin and Rebecca.
"They have been absolutely fantastic, they truly have. And Kevin you've been the dad to everybody and you've been the gentleman to all of us and you've been a wonderful partner."
Speaking after the result was revealed, Kevin said: "I feel great, I have had the best time of my life.
"It's been an absolute pleasure to meet this wonderful lady to try teach me line dances, patience of a saint."
Rebecca said: "It has been my absolute pleasure. You are so kind, so generous, so funny, and you are a ray of sunshine for everyone, you're so positive and everyone loves you for it."
'LEGEND'
Kevin then added: "To all the crew, I mean every last person is phenomenal, especially Josh and Neil, thank you so much."
RTE viewers were all gutted to see Kevin leave tonight and raced to social media with love.
Aoife said: "End of the line for Kevin the champion."
Tricia wrote: "For entertainment value and fun Kevin really added to the show. I won't find it as enjoyable now."
Tracy added: "Legend."
