Romance Takes Center Stage for Dancing with the Stars' Love Week trucc

Love is in the air this weekend as RTÉ’s Dancing with the Stars is transformed for Love Week.

The eight remaining couples will continue the lovey-dovey vibes on Sunday as they perform dances to a variety of different love songs.

The celebrity and professional dance pairings will be dancing to save themselves from the dreaded bottom two which saw model Aishah Akorede saved over meteorologist Joanna Donnelly last weekend.

THE DANCES

Having received the highest score of the season to date last weekend, Olympic gymnast Rhys McCleneghan will dance a Romeo and Juliet-inspired Rumba to Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do alongside pro dancer Laura Nolan.

Hoping to stay out of the dance-off this weekend Aishah and pro dancer Robert Rowiński will perform a Paso Doble to We Found Love by Rihanna.

Comedian Gearóid Farrelly and Stephen Vincent will perform a Quickstep to Phil Collins’ rendition of You Can’t Hurry Love while actor Danny O’Carroll and Salome Chachua will dance a Viennese Waltz to This Year’s Love by David Gray.

Chef Kevin Dundon is also performing a Paso Doble on Sunday. The TV chef and his pro partner Rebecca Scott achieved a personal best score on Sunday and this week will dance to You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi.

Taekwondo Olympian Jack Woolley and Alex Vladimirov will dance a Contemporary Ballroom dance to You’ve Got The Love by Florence & the Machine.

Lastly, TikTok star Kayleigh Trappe and Ervinas Merfeldas will dance a Salsa to Christina Aguilera’s Let There Be Love and Kin star Yasmin Seky will dance a Jive to Imelda May’s Tainted Love with her partner Simone Arena.

THE VOTE

All couples face elimination this week, with the two couples with the lowest combined points from the public vote and judges’ score will have to dance again.

The judges will then vote to save one couple.

Dancing with the Stars airs on Sunday at 6.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
