In case you missed it, Larsa Pippen has a new boyfriend named Jeff Coby. On paper, he’s just like all of the other guys she’s dated. He’s a basketball player, and he’s much younger than her. The Real Housewives of Miami star clearly has a type, but according to her, the connection with Jeff is different from the other athletes on her roster.

Larsa and Jeff first went public with their romance in April 2025. A month later, she was already talking about marriage. This might be the real deal, and Larsa told Us Weekly in a new interview that her relationship with Jeff is different from the previous athletes she’s dated.
“I think we do very normal things. I think this is the first relationship where we don’t have to go out,” Larsa said of her age-gap relationship. “We don’t have to do extravagant things. We just like to do simple things, and we make each other happy. It’s been really fun.”
According to Larsa, one of the biggest differences between her relationship with Jeff and her past lovers is that they have “so much in common.” It took Larsa all of this time to realize that having mutual interests and values is usually a good way to form a connection with someone.
“I feel like Jeff and I are kind of the same in that way. We both are traditional in a lot of ways,” she explained. “We both love to be around our family, and I feel like in the past I dated guys that weren’t like that, [they] didn’t necessarily care to spend time with their family [or] weren’t as close to their family as I was. So they thought that was weird that I wanted to always be around my parents or my siblings.”
With so much in common, Larsa said that she’s definitely “serious” about Jeff. However, she did clarify that the chatter about an engagement was “probably a joke,” but she’s not ruling it out. She’s in love!
“I feel like I definitely do enjoy being with him. We have a great relationship, and I do love him,” she noted. “So we’ll see.”
