Larsa Pippen is under fire on social media after sharing an Instagram Story in which she offered support for former president Donald Trump following an assassination attempt over the weekend.
After news broke that the Republican nominee for this year’s election was shot in the ear at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star took to her Instagram Story, where she shared a photo of Trump pumping his fist in the air with blood running down his face after the shooting.
Larsa’s post, which featured the tag for Trump’s official account, was shared on July 13.
“2024,” she added in a caption.
Following the sharing of the post, a number of users on X, formerly known as Twitter, spoke out against Larsa.
“More reasons to hate Larsa Pippen — check her insta story (I refuse to post the picture) — spoiler alert she’s a Trump supporter,” one man stated.
“I didn’t know Larsa Pippen is a Trump supporter. Just unfollowed the entire Pippen family,” added another.
As RHOM fans well know, Larsa shares a daughter and four sons with ex-husband Scottie Pippen, 58. And because those children are Black, one person questioned how she could support Trump.
“I was rooting for [RHOM] Larsa Pippen and as she explored her relationship with Marcus Jordan. Now that I know that she’s [MAGA], she can f*ck all the way off,” the X user declared.
“How are you raising Black children and you support this man?” they added.
Since facing backlash over her Trump support, Larsa has been active on her Instagram Story. However, rather than address what people are saying, she’s chosen to share videos of herself enjoying her time in Las Vegas, where she recently ran into the Southern Hospitality cast.
