Lenny Hochstein took to the comments section of his latest Instagram post over the weekend to defend his ex-fiancée, Katharina Nahlik, against claims of being a “gold-digger” and ruining his marriage to Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein.
Days after confirming the end of his engagement to the 29-year-old Austrian model, Lenny, 58, reacted to several fans who took aim at Katharina as he also denied that she caused the end of his relationship with Lisa, 42, and revealed that he’s lost weight since their breakup.
“That girl was a gold digger Lenny I think she was the karma bus … you and Lisa should get back together,” someone wrote to Lenny on September 7.
“She was not,” Lenny replied. “I understand some people want to hate her but she wasn’t the problem in my marriage and not once in the time we were together did she ask for a single thing. Everything I did was because I wanted to.”
Another person wrote, “SO PROUD OF YOU LENNY! ABOUT TIME YOU LEAVE THIS ONE! SHE ONLY WANTED YOU FOR YOUR NAME AND MONEY! SO GLAD YOU LEFT HER!”
But still, he insisted, “I don’t think that’s true.”
A third fan applauded Lenny for leaving Katharina, encouraging him to seek out someone who wasn’t so “thirsty” and “desperate.”
“Proud of you for setting an example to wealthy men out there that beauty isn’t all that matters. Young hot girls, with sexy bodies and stunning faces are everywhere in Miami. Finding a woman who has much more to offer than being sexy [and] constantly flaunting her body is rare,” the person stated. “Walking in with a woman who is stunning inside and out … and still doesn’t have to look thirsty wearing nothing is the most high value/rare woman. Elegant, sophisticated, smart, [and] sexy in an admirable way not desperate thirsty way. Best of luck finding that woman … They are rare but out there.”
However, according to Lenny, whose friend suggested Katharina had cheated late last week, he had that and blew it.
“I had that but it didn’t work out and I share the responsibility. I’m not perfect,” he admitted.
Lenny’s comments came after the plastic surgeon posted a shirtless photo of himself posing with his two kids, son Logan, 8, and daughter Elle, 3, at their $52 million Star Island home.
After posting the image to his fans and followers, Lenny confirmed that he “lost [seven] pounds this week.”
