While the long-running Housewife is typically 'kind' to the crew, sometimes her anger can be taken out on 'anyone' who crosses her path, a source claimed
REAL Housewives of Orange County producers had to ‘step in’ to chat with Shannon Beador after her angry outbursts this year, a source has claimed.
While the Bravo star is “typically” very “sweet and caring,” she has allegedly been taking her anger out on those both in front of, and behind, the cameras while filming tense scenes on season 19.

Katie Ginella during an intense fight with rival Shannon on the most recent RHOC episode
Shannon, 61, has never been shy about showing her vulnerable and difficult personal moments to the world since she first joined RHOC in 2014 for its ninth season.
And while season 19 of the show is only on its third episode of the season, Shannon has already been involved in major fights, primarily with rival Katie Ginella.
According to a source, Shannon had a hard time shaking her anger after filming intense scenes and allegedly brought that “aggressive” energy to those behind the cameras.
"[Shannon] had to be told to cool it more than once. To take her anger out on the problem or even the cast, not the people just doing their jobs,” an insider claimed.
They continued: “Production had to step in and have a word with Shannon about the way she can speak to the filming crew sometimes.
“When emotions get heated, Shannon lets her anger get the best of her and she takes it out on those around her and not necessarily the source of her anger, which in this particular case would be Katie.
“When she's not angry, Shannon is very kind and caring to production and the crew. But in the moment when things are tense, the claws come out, and anyone in her path could be impacted.”
The insider added: “It’s not the first time she’s been called out for speaking more aggressively with staffers. It’s also not the first show this has come up on.
“Obviously there's Love Hotel gate,” referring to the Peacock spinoff Love Hotel - where host Joel Kim Booster accused Shannon of treating people she worked with on the show as “subhuman.”
In an Instagram Story posted shortly before Love Hotel aired on the NBCUniversal streamer, the actor said of Shannon: ”Just because you're a pathetic drunk on a reality show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not make you a star.
“And does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period.”
Joel quickly took the posts down and later offered a public apology to Shannon, admitting he “deeply regrets” his posts.
Shannon responded in October during her Shannon & Vicki Live! show at the Irvine Improv in Irvine, California, alongside longtime pal Vicki Gunvalson.
"It's very unprofessional. What I'm sad about is I did do some kind things on the show and people said I'm kind.
“So it's hard for me to walk away from an experience that I really enjoyed and to have that damper on it.
“We'll see what happens. I don't know where it came from. I really don’t.
“And I really don't know what it's about because the night before the wrap party, he had tears in his eyes and said 'I'm so happy for you.' ...
“It’s really going to look silly for him because he had nothing but love for me the entire show,” she told the audience of Joel’s comments.
The U.S. Sun reached out to reps for Shannon and RHOC for comment.
OH, SEE!
This season on RHOC, Shannon has gone head-to-head with Katie, who is back for her second season as a Housewife.
Last night’s episode ended with an explosive confrontation between the two at Heather Dubrow's birthday party after Katie was caught secretly recording a conversation she had with Shannon without her consent.
While Katie admitted that she “didn’t mean to hurt” Shannon in any way, she also said she had “no excuse” for what she did.
Despite attempting to make amends, Katie could not be forgiven, and Shannon officially ended their friendship.
"Katie, no apology will ever measure up to how much you violated me. I will never, ever speak to you again.
“You are the most evil person I have ever met. Worse than Alexis Bellino, worse than John Janssen, worse than Tamra Judge.”
The episode ended with Shannon storming off and Katie appearing deflated by the whole ordeal.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays at 8 pm on Bravo.
