Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have started on the wrong foot on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and have different ideas about when their friendship started dwindling.
At Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, Richards clarified why she distanced herself from Kemsley and took a moment to reach out to her.
“I had said to her I was in a very weak place in my life, and kind of a dark place, to be honest,” Richards told us. “And it was one of those situations where I wasn’t reaching out to anybody. I was sort of isolating, and even returning a text message felt like a struggle in those times.”
Richards recalls her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky, and her state of mind at the time.
“Anything that was difficult to face, I didn’t have the strength to do because I was going through so much in the rest of my life,” she added.
On a lighter note, Richards was one of the founding cast members of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on Peacock. The reality series followed a group of The Real Housewives stars from across the franchises as they traveled to an exotic location.
Andy Cohen told Deadline that he was hopeful the spinoff series would return in the future. We asked the RHOBH star who she would want to go on a girls trip if the show returned.
“I would be down to do another Ultimate Girls Trip, depending on who went,” she told us.
As to who she would take? “I would like Dorinda [Medley],” she said. “I would love Dorinda to go because she’s just adorable and she’s so sweet. And a lot of the Salt Lake City girls, are so nice. Love them.”
