Dorit Kemsley Files for Divorce from Husband PK Kemsley After 10 Years of Marriage

Is the timing coincidental, or were those PDA pics really the final straw? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley has officially asked for a divorce from Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley, according to documents filed in L.A. County obtained by People and TMZ. This move comes just one day after her estranged husband was photographed in Los Angeles kissing and holding hands with a different blonde reality star, former Amazing Race contestant Shana Wall. Dorit’s filing cited “irreconcilable differences.” She’s requesting sole legal and physical custody of the two kids they share, 11-year-old Jagger and 9-year-old Phoenix, in addition to spousal support. Her attorney, Samantha Spector, previously represented Amber Heard and Jenna Dewan in their respective divorces from Johnny Depp and Channing Tatum.

Dorit and PK got married in May 2015 and have been publicly separated since May 2024. “We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the pair wrote in a joint, since-deleted Instagram statement announcing the separation. “We have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.”

During season 14 of RHOBH, Dorit described PK as a “full-blown alcoholic,” although he publicly pushed back against the characterization and said in December 2024 that he had been sober for almost a year. But despite the difficulties in the relationship, Dorit did not always expect to be heading toward a formal split. In a January 7 episode, she recalled feeling “blindsided” by a “four-hour therapy session” where PK said for the first time that he wanted to divorce her. “We were so amicable a few weeks ago, the whiplash is hard to take,” she reflected. Then, during the first part of the season-14 reunion, which aired on April 1, Dorit shared that “as of a week ago,” she had chosen not to “have much of a relationship” with her ex. “He’s my soul, he’s my blood, he’s my heart,” she said. “And I hate that, because it makes it so much more difficult. But I also know I need peace.”
