What happened in Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 3?
Marysol and Steve McNamara finally legally tied the knot. Kiki told Guerdy that Julia was talking about her, and that her RHOM co-stars thought she was “extra.” Plus, Adriana and Julia’s friendship showed signs of strain. Then, at Marysol’s wedding celebration, Guerdy and Julia had an explosive argument.
Lisa shares some sad news about her father on Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
When Alexia reached out to Lisa to invite her to Marysol and Steve’s surprise wedding celebration, Lisa was in Canada. Her father had passed away. “He was unconscious, so I didn’t get to have a moment with him,” Lisa told Alexia.
As she prepared for the funeral, Lisa told Jody that she wanted to say a few words. Her brother was going to speak, and Lisa felt strongly that she should, too. “I didn’t have this perfect childhood. I think he tried his best, but I just didn’t take it like that. And look, he was an alcoholic,” Lisa said in her confessional.
“The fact that he tried and I didn’t let him in, in time, is really heartbreaking. Because when I was ready, it was too late.” She added, “I just wish I had more time with my dad.”
Marysol and Steve ride into matrimony in The Real Housewives of Miami
“Me and Boobie are making it official!” Marysol exclaimed in her confessional. Both Steve and Marysol were nervous, which is kind of adorable. “We’re nervous because there’s a lot of money on the line between the two of us,” Marysol quipped with a laugh.
The couple decided that, because they were getting older, they needed to make a change. Marysol explained that they needed to “be able to access each other’s funds, take care of each other. Protect each other, make decisions for each other.”
The bride wore a white mini dress with a short white veil. She also wore one of her mother’s bracelets that she brought from Cuba. Mama Elsa was surely with them. Then the couple hopped on Steve’s motorcycle and rode to the courthouse. “Third time’s the charm!” Marysol exclaimed as they entered.
In her confessional, Marsyol shared her feelings for Steve. “He’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me,” Marysol stated. “And I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life,” she added through tears. I loved seeing this couple make it legal after having ceremonies in Mexico and Scotland.
Julia hurt Adriana’s feelings in The Real Housewives of Miami
Adriana and Julia met up, and there are also cracks forming in this longtime friendship. Julia said that everyone had been calling to ask about the boys that she and her wife, Martina Navratilova, adopted, but she hadn’t heard from Adriana.
“I was a bit surprised that you didn’t tell me before everybody else, to tell you the truth,” Adriana said. She added, “Alexia already saw the boys. Maybe I was a little resentful.”
Thankfully, Julia owned her behavior. “You know, I probably should have told you before,” she admitted. However, it was obvious from Adriana’s confessional that she was devastated. “I felt a little disappointed since I had been with her through the process of adoption. You would have felt better if she had told me privately before, but … but she didn’t,” she said.
Adriana also felt “the distance right now,” and it was because of Julia’s friendship with Marysol and Alexia. She added how happy she was that Julia finally had her two boys. In the end, Adriana asked Julia if she could host a baby shower for the boys, and Julia was thrilled.
Cruising into drama-filled water in The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
Kiki shared with Guerdy that Alexia hosted a girls’ night, and Guerdy obviously wasn’t included. Then Kiki dropped the bomb that Guerdy’s RHOM co-stars felt that she was “very extra” and “too much.” Now, Guerdy has always been over-the-top, but Larsa is the most extra this season. Plus, Julia told the ladies about the drama on the cruise.
According to Julia, when Martina was unable to attend due to a health issue, Guerdy went in her place. She insisted that Guerdy offered to go with her. Then Julia detailed Guerdy’s alleged bad behavior during the cruise.
She claimed that Guerdy made the experience “all about herself.” Julia added in her confessional, “Connections she would make there. Pictures she would take there. And never once asked me, ‘Julia, how are you doing? And how is Martina doing’? Never once,” Julia claimed.
Previously, Julia told Larsa and Kiki about Guerdy’s behavior on the cruise. Everything seemed fine until it wasn’t. “Except this one dinner,” Julia stated, “where Martina was supposed to go, and because she didn’t go, the person removed her from the guest list.” And Guerdy was furious.
However, Guerdy insisted that Julia begged her to come on the trip. “She asked me to because she was distraught and needed emotional support. I went on the cruise to support a friend, is the basics of it all,” Guerdy explained in her confessional.
Of course, Guerdy had a different view of that dinner incident. “But it’s kind of weird that I’m here on the cruise for you, but then you just switch it up on me and tell me … go eat at that restaurant over there, which by the way did not even have my reservation,” Guerdy said. She added that the experience made her feel “like a seat-filler” and “less than.”
Larsa’s accusations about Jody in Milan confused her RHOM co-stars
As everyone gathered to celebrate Marysol and Steve, the vibe between Julia and Guerdy was tense. When Guerdy arrived, she introduced herself to Julia and said, “You look just like a friend I used to know.” Yikes!
Meanwhile, Marysol arrived at her surprise wedding celebration sporting a black eye patch with a dollar sign on it. Is she cosplaying a pirate? No, she has a stye in her eye. Poor Marysol!
Well, everyone wanted to hear the tea about Milan. Larsa shared how she told Jody that she didn’t want him hanging around her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. Then Larsa shared that she and Lisa reached a better place. Apparently, Lisa apologized and said she would unfollow Marcus. “We made progress,” Larsa said. “But the last night of Milan, Jody gets so crazy. Yelling over us.”
Immediately, Julia asked, “How big were his eyeballs?” So, Larsa showed a photo. The consensus was that his eyes looked normal for Jody. If Larsa was indeed trying to imply that Jody was allegedly using drugs, her plan fizzled. And that was a step too far – even for Larsa.
Then Larsa revealed that she told Lisa that Jody was bad news. She thinks that it is sus that Jody is on all of Lisa’s business calls. For Alexia, Larsa choosing this moment to slam Jody and Lisa while Lisa is grieving, and not present, was a low blow.
Guerdy and Julia’s feud explodes on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
The ladies encouraged Julia and Guerdy to talk. While Guerdy was willing, Julia was not. When Guerdy asked if she wanted to speak in front of the group, Julia exclaimed, “Hey! You don’t be producing!”
Guerdy asked Julia how many cocktails she had. Guerdy added, “We’re not talking then. You’re screaming. You’re like a hyena.” Julia was coming off as aggressive right away. “You’ve been talking sh*t behind my back all summer. You’re an animal,” Guerdy said as she stood up. “You’re disgusting!”
Julia fired back that Guerdy had been “talking badly about Alexia, talking badly about the group!” Then she shouted, “I am a hyena and I’m proud to be!” Umm…
The former friends continued to argue, gesturing with their hands near each other’s faces. Finally, the bride asked them to sit down at the table. Once again, the cruise was the prime topic. Guerdy shared her version of events. She claimed that she received a call from a “hysterical” Julia, begging her to come on the cruise. When Guerdy asked what was wrong with Martina, Julia didn’t want to tell her. She said that she would explain on the cruise.
“This woman is scary. I’m telling you, she is psychopath scary,” Julia said. When Guerdy told Julia, “Be quiet,” Julia did the unthinkable. She tossed her drink on Guerdy. “You’re a liar! Martina had a cancer situation,” Julia screamed. Guerdy calmly stated, “She’s f*cking crazy.”
Julia continued, “Martina had a biopsy. I told you this on the phone! You’re a liar!” She added, “You were doing everything for your social media! She wanted to be invited to very special events. Because Captain Sandy [Yawn] was there.” However, according to Guerdy, she and Julia hung out with the Below Deck Mediterranean captain on the cruise before that disastrous dinner.
Guerdy drops a bombshell about Julia on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
Even after being drenched by Julia’s drink, Guerdy wasn’t done. “Let’s get back to the problem at hand. She gets on the boat and leaves Martina,” the party planner said of Julia. “That’s the f*cking issue. And you’re trying to like spin it all around.”
After Julia told Guerdy to stay out of her family’s business, Guerdy shot back, “You made me involved when you invited me on the ship to be with you because of Martina.” Julia again insisted that she “didn’t invite” Guerdy, and that Guerdy “suggested” taking Martina’s place.
“Just the same way that you get a facelift while Martina was in New York getting chemo,” Guerdy said. WHAT? Julia replied in a low voice, “Don’t deflect. Don’t deflect.” Then Guerdy asked Julia why she waited almost a year to talk to her if there was a problem. “I did not wait,” Julia responded. “I just didn’t want to have anything to do with you.”
In her confessional, Julia said, “How can a friend say those things to me? I feel embarrassed in front of Marysol for allowing Guerdy to get the best of me.” She added, “I just wanted her to stop.” I don’t see Julia taking any responsibility for her behavior.
