The Real Housewives of Miami stars Julia Lemigova and Adriana de Moura might be leaving their friendship behind for good.
Lemigova, 52, told Page Six Radio on Friday, April 18, that there was a “sad and disturbing” end to her friendship with de Moura, 59.
“For years, people have been telling me not to trust certain people, and I think I wanted to fight that, to fight what they were telling me,” Lemigova said. “But now I’m finally opening my eyes and seeing maybe they were right all along.”
Lemigova joined the franchise as a full-time cast member for its fourth season, when Peacock rebooted the series in 2021, after an eight-year hiatus. She was brought in by de Moura, who starred as a full-time cast member in the original series but now serves in a Friend capacity.
Lemigova told the outlet that the fracture in their friendship happened after de Moura came “directly at” her on camera while they were filming the upcoming seventh season, though she's unclear of the motivations behind her costar's decision.
“Adriana is a very mysterious person. You never really know with her. You will see it,” she said.
Lemigova noted that she’s interested to see what de Moura said about their rift as the season airs. “The incredible part is, as you’re watching the show, you will be discovering things about our relationship at the same time as I am discovering them myself," she said.
She confessed that she doesn’t know what or why their friendship fell. “I just know some facts, and it’s very sad and disturbing.”
“But, you know, what’s done is done,” she said, adding that she doesn’t see a reconciliation in their future. “Life is going on. You just have to learn from things and just keep going. So I don’t know what tomorrow’s going to bring.”
Meanwhile, in late March, de Moura teased the upcoming season for Us Weekly, saying there will be “a lot of twists and turns.”
“A lot of unexpected things that even myself wasn’t expecting,” she said, as she seemingly hinted at the feud between her and Lemigova. “On a personal level, there is some conflict with friends that I thought I was friends with, maybe not so much friends. The typical cattiness of Housewives.”
“There are so many new friendships,” she continued. “There are friends that were before that are no longer friends. We’re just very passionate here in Miami.”
