Given that Quad Webb has bragged that she and her boyfriend, King, have sex "sometimes more" than 15 times a week and often discuss starting a family, Married to Medicine Season 11 reunion host Andy Cohen naturally wondered if "there's going to be a Baby Quad coming" soon.
"We're hoping," Quad revealed on Part 1 of Married to Medicine's three-part reunion, before also offering an exciting update on her IVF (in vitro fertilization) journey.
"I am in the process for sure," she shared with Andy during the March 23 episode, adding that Dr. Jackie Walters is her physician.
Stepping in to offer her own professional assessment, Dr. Jackie said that they're "excited and hopefully overcoming all the challenges."
What's more, the OB/GYN further teased, "We don't know if today we may have an announcement or not."
Is Quad Webb pregnant?
The suggestion that Quad could soon find out that she is pregnant had Toya Bush-Harris exclaiming, "Oh, we need to pee on a stick!"
Quad did not have any pregnancy news to share just yet, though.
After first joking that she’s "not saying anything," she later promised she would "let [her] friends know" if and when she is expecting a baby.
"I'm not hiding it," Quad promised, referencing her year-long delay in introducing King as her partner.
Good thing, because, as Dr. Simone Whitmore put it, "If she hides it, I'm not bringing a baby gift."
Dr. Jackie did break one piece of bad news to Quad, though: "Now, when we get pregnant, there may be a time when you cannot have sex," she cautioned, leading her patient to start thinking more creatively.
What Quad has revealed about starting a family with King
Ever since Quad and King began dating in May 2023, they’ve had babies on the brain.
During Season 11, Episode 3 of Married to Medicine, the couple discussed plans for a future family, telling a producer that they were ready for a baby.
"I don't think there will be a better person more suited for me, especially to raise a child with, than you," Quad said, sitting next to her man. "Little baby going to be out here. Cute. Fine. Like, do you see all of this chocolate? Baby, Hershey's ain't got nothing on us."
Later in the same episode, Quad revealed that she'd actually like to have twins, prompting King to joke, "You want to go from 0 to 100 real quick."
What Quad Webb has shared about going through IVF
In addition to what she shared on the show, Quad also opened up more about her IVF journey in an early January interview with The Daily Dish.
"I had some fibroids removed back in April [and my] cervix looks great, so what I would like to do is just see if we can do this naturally for a portion of time," she explained at the time. "But I'm thinking maybe around the top of the year, if it hadn't happened at that point, then we're gonna move forward with IVF."
Now that they have moved forward with the process, don’t miss everything else Quad and King spilled about their relationship, including a special gift that caught him "totally off guard."
