The Married To Medicine reunion is in full swing as part one recently aired. In most ways, this was a solid reunion that has even gained Andy Cohen praise for his improved hosting. However, the moment many fans can’t stop talking about is Dr. Simone Whitmore bringing up the death of Quad Webb’s three-year-old great-niece.
Now, Quad is responding to that, as well as Phaedra Parks comparing her to the Titanic.
Fans will recall the tragic news of Quad’s great-niece drowning at her home back in 2023. Apparently, Quad left someone in charge of the little girl, but she drowned in the pool while they were distracted. She took a break from social media after the event and hasn’t really discussed the situation in public.
However, during the reunion, the ladies were discussing Quad never being there for them. Dr. Simone mentioned reaching out to Quad after her tragedy, to which Andy asked for clarification. Perhaps the most heartbreaking part of the reunion was Quad asking Simone not to bring it up. But Simone continued to say it as Quad cried on the other couch.
She took to X, formally known as Twitter, to ask, “Where was the humanity,” in what Simone did.
“Where is the humanity I’m a real person with a family that’s in pain and we’re struggling everyday trying to heal #Married2Med,” wrote Quad.
She also called Simone’s actions “insensitive” and questioned why production would allow it to continue. She also says that she and her family are still struggling after their tragic loss.
“Just insensitive I would never use anyone’s family’s hurt & pain as a source of entertainment,” she tweeted. “My family and I struggle on the daily. I am heartbroken & disgusted. I can’t believe production let this fly.”
She also had words for Phaedra. During the reunion, Phaedra compared Quad to the Titanic and said she didn’t want to attach herself to Quad. In her post, she confirms that she helped Phaedra secure a three-year contract for Married to Medicine.
“Wow, she doesn’t want to attach herself to the Titanic, in other words SINK, but I helped her Anchor herself for the next three years on #married2med My how soon do we forget?” asked Quad.
There were parts of the Married To Medicine season 10 reunion that were difficult to watch, and this was one of them. However, Quad held her own, and many fans believe she could be back next season. In fact, she even apologized to fellow cast members for sometimes not being a better friend.
