Pete Wicks has admitted he thought he would 'never be enough' as he discussed his battles with mental health.
The former TOWIE star, 36, revealed the name of his book Never Enough: My Words Unfiltered came from his first tattoo as he once felt that way.
He joined Vicky Pattison on stage for his In Conversation With event on Tuesday evening, where he thanked fans for the 'amazing messages' he received following the success of his new book - which has become a Sunday Times bestseller.
While on stage, Pete said: 'The first tattoo I ever got was Never Enough because I never thought I'd be enough. That's where the title came from.'
Pete wanted the book to be 'relatable' for readers, adding: 'I'd just like people to go away knowing that they are enough.

'To be able to explain how you really feel is difficult and I think we all sometimes mislabel how we feel, but I want people to know it's fine not to be ok all the time. You just have to be willing to keep putting in the work!'
He was further praised by TV star Vicky, who said: 'I always knew the misconceptions about you were untrue. You may not know this, but you were actually the first man in my life I truly respected. I could tell you've been raised well be strong women.'
Then the TOWIE star went on revealing the book was his ultimate gift for his beloved mum.
'The most important person to me when writing this book was my mum. There were things in there that I hadn't even told her which were really healing for our relationship,' he said.
'There is no one I look up to more than her. Speaking to her about the past has been therapeutic. Losing my nan brought me and my mum closer but I wanted to write this book as I knew my nan would be proud I had the bollocks to do it.'
He finished sharing a heartfelt message to the audience: 'I've always been a shoulder to cry on for other people but you can't really help anyone unless you help yourself first. The book gave me an opportunity to refresh and recharge.'
Pete has just signed up for Strictly Come Dancing and recently insisted Zara McDermott 'loves Strictly' and will be his 'number one fan' when he competes.
He signed up for Strictly Come Dancing just days after it emerged his friend Zara, 27, was physically and verbally abused by her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima while on last year's series.
Yet Pete insisted it hadn't stopped Zara supporting him as he told MailOnline: 'Zara loves the show, and she's been a massive support so she will probably be my number one fan.'

When it was suggested Zara could teach him some moves, he quipped: 'It's my partner that's going to teach me everything so I'm just excited to get going.'
Pete previously opened up about how Zara had been the driving force behind him deciding to sign up.
During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Monday, he admitted: 'Zara was the one that kind of pushed me to do this because she loves the show. I was quite honest about the fact I had never actually seen it.
'The first time I saw Strictly was the first live show last year when Zara was on and I just thought wow, this is amazing - but I never imagined myself doing it. Sequins, all that stuff, is not necessarily my style.'
He added: 'I am petrified. I'm like a Ferrari from the waist down and Volvo from the top half. I've got the hips but nothing else.'
