uring Season 10, Episode 12 of Southern Charm, Craig Conover called his then-girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, to hopefully talk some sense into Shep Rose about his relationship with Sienna Evans.
Obviously, Paige was more than happy to deliver her wisdom — and offer some fashion advice in the process.
“I need your help talking to Shep,” Craig said when she answered his FaceTime call during the episode. While their conversation started easily enough (“OK, flamingo shorts with a flamingo shirt. Do you like it?” Shep asked the fashionista about his boat day outfit), it quickly got a little more serious.
“We’re gonna make Shep happy today,” Craig said.
“That's impossible. I'm unhappy,” his friend replied. “It’s just been hard, Paige. I’m sure you can understand.”
“The only thing I will say is, especially with long distance, if it's already a little shaky, it only gets shakier," she replied.
“I know, but I said everything I needed to say. I laid it all out on the line," Shep said back.
“Good. So then it literally is on her. And if she doesn't give you the same energy back, then let her go," Paige concluded.
Why Shep Rose was confused by his relationship with Sienna
Ultimately, Shep's biggest issue came from how Sienna could say 'I love you' one week and not reply to his calls the next.
“This is what he’s held up on," Craig shared. "He goes, ‘How could someone tell me that they love me three weeks ago and now act like this?’”

“Things change,” responded Paige. “If she’s not texting you back, if she’s not trying to sleep in your room every night, if she’s not trying to hang out, if she’s not trying to introduce you to her family, she does not like you.”
While Shep argued that he did meet her family when he was in the Bahamas two months prior, Paige stood her ground.
“Yes, but she wasn’t talking to you before you get there and she’s not going to talk to you after you leave,” she replied. “Look. I’m going to tell you something that my mom used to tell me all through my ‘20s. They don’t like you. If they liked you, you would know it. She doesn’t like you. So, you gotta let her go.”
And with that, they said goodbye and got ready for their day on the boat.
Craig Conover was grateful for Paige DeSorbo's help with Shep
As fans could tell during the episode, Craig was worried about his friend. “Austen [Kroll] and I clearly can’t get through to Shep. I think he needs to hear a girl translate the messages to him,” Craig said in a confessional.
Luckily, he had the right girl for the job.
