Jack P. Shepherd has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2025 but some fans of the ITV series are not happy with the result and have branded the show a 'fix'
Coronation Street's Jack P. Shepherd has triumphed as this year's winner of Celebrity Big Brother.
ITV viewers watched on Friday night to witness the actor, known for his role as David Platt in the long-running soap, claim victory.
The thrilling finale saw a host of celebrities battle it out with Chris Hughes taking sixth place, Chesney Hawkes coming in fifth, Donna Preston in fourth and JoJo Siwa securing third position.
A tense head-to-head between Jack P.Shepherd and Danny Beard unfolded before viewers' eyes, leading to the revelation by hosts AJ and Will that Jack would take home the crown, much to the shock and excitement of the two finalists themselves.
Yet, not all who tuned in to ITV were pleased with how things panned out.
The decision sparked a lively backlash on social media, with some branding the win as an "Absolute fix."
Someone else wrote: "JoJo should have won. End off." Questioning the outcome, one person said: "It's a fix. How has Danny not bagged that?!"
While one incredulously asked: "Is this a joke.... This is a joke right??"
One viewer tweeted "Na, I'm sorry it's giving fix. Jack did nothing except drink tea, he is funny, but so's everyone else."
Reeling, someone else added: "What an actual joke that the person who has just stood or sat around drinking the whole series has won bc he's from a soap, what a JOKE."
Amidst the wave of discontent, there were also viewers who were absolutely delighted to see Jack crowned as the winner, reveling in the joy of his unexpected triumph, reports OK!.
A viewer expressed their delight over the outcome with: "Congratulations Jack. Fully deserved winner. Unlucky Danny." Another added to the celebratory mood by saying: "YESSSSS!! Congratulations Jack!! So happy!!"
Someone else joined in with: "Awwww Jack!!!! Congratulations!!" Emerging from the house, Coronation Street's Jack was evidently astounded as a roar of cheers greeted him.
Recapping his feelings on his win in a conversation with AJ and Will, he shared: "I can't believe it! I am blown away. I didn't expect it. Tonight, there are six of us, I thought I was a show in for maybe a fifth.
"Honestly, as people were just disappearing, I thought, 'Surely not!' Then when JoJo went, my head fell off! I had her nailed down as the winner."
