ITV are to keep the sexy taste of Spain sizzling with a new cookery show with more than a taste of Love Island to it.

Former villa stunner Olivia Attwood will front the intense new contest which, like the dating show, is set in Spain and is set to be one of ITV's biggest new programme launches.

Airing on ITV2, the huge ten-part series has just been filmed at the same time as the current series of Love Island.

It will drop in 2026, and is set in a high end restaurant on the glamorous Port Vell Marina in Barcelona where viewers will see the frantic activity both front of house and behind the scenes.

ITV have said: "This isn’t just a straight-forward cooking competition - each day when the kitchen service is over, the cameras keep rolling because when you’re living, working and competing with one another, there is no escaping The Heat.

"Viewers can expect post shift dates, staff nights out and more - blending both their professional and personal lives will see tempers simmer, steam and boil, in and outside of the kitchen."

The competition will be judged by top chef Jean Christophe Novelli, who previously fronted the 2005 series of Hell's Kitchen with the late Gary Rhodes.

A TV insider said: "This is great news for fans of Love Island as the current hit series nears its end, and gives them another series to look forward to with a flavour of sexy Spain.

"It's a competition where waiting staff, maitre d's and chefs will all be put through their paces, with it all being overseen by Olivia, who's now considered to be one of ITV's fastest rising stars.

"Bagging a solo reality TV contest is a huge step for her, but also a natural one given her Love Island heritage - and she's used to feeling the heat in a Mediterranean contest."

The show will feature ten chefs working in a restaurant and it follows what happens after hours as well as in the kitchen.

Similar to the hugely popular series Below Deck, the chefs will be living and working together so cameras will be rolling on staff nights out as well as while they are working together in the kitchen.

The competition element is intense and viewers will see promotions and demotions as the chefs battle one another to impress.

Olivia, who shot to fame on the 2017 series of Love Island, has bagged several top roles with ITV, where she's well thought of among execs.

The 34-year-old, who's married to footballer Bradley Dack , has fronted documentaries including Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection and Getting Filthy Rich.

Olivia Attwood said, “It is such an honour to host this brand-new format for ITV2 and ITVX, being at the helm of something this fresh and exciting is a total pinch-me moment!”

Jean-Christophe Novelli added: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join this new exciting show and help spotlight the next generation of culinary talent. Known for my drive and intensity in the kitchen, I’ll be using my passion and unique teaching style to push these young chefs to dig deep, stay sharp, and prove they have what it takes to grow, evolve, and make their mark.

"I’ll mentor them to use all five senses together and put it all on the plate, the right way. It’s going to be a wild ride, and I know we’ll discover some true culinary stars along the way.

"I’m ready. Let’s do this. Allez, Allez – bon appétit!”
