The Washington Capitals are celebrating the ‘Rock The Red’ era of their history with a series of special appearances at Verizon stores across the DMV with Nicklas Backstrom making an appearance in Rockville on Thursday.
These pop-up events have been featuring beloved Capitals legends, the team mascot Slapshot, exciting giveaways, and much more, providing fans with a unique opportunity to connect with their favorite players and celebrate the team’s legacy.
One of the highlights of this promotional campaign will take place on Thursday, March 6th, when Capitals star and legend Nicklas Backstrom makes a special appearance at the Verizon store located in the Congressional Plaza shopping center at 1701 Rockville Pike. Fans are invited to join Backstrom from 4 PM to 6 PM for a chance to meet the hockey legend, take photos, and receive autographs.
