The NHL released the dates for the entire Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes second-round playoff series shortly after the Dallas Stars eliminated the Colorado Avalanche in Game 7, Saturday night.
With the Capitals owning home ice, Games 1 and 2 will start at Capital One Arena at 7 pm on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. Then the series will then shift to Carolina’s Lenovo Center on Saturday and Monday. Notably, there will be a two-day break before Game 5, if necessary, is played.
While the dates for the remaining games in the series have been provided, but the NHL has not yet determined when Games 3 through 7 will start or which national TV provider will be carrying them.
