UK developer taps game licence for reality TV show
Nazara-owned UK studio Fusebox Games has launched Big Brother: The Game worldwide on mobile.
Developed in collaboration with Big Brother's global distributor Banijay Rights, the narrative-driven mobile game is based on the reality TV show.
Big Brother: The Game lets players enter the famous house, create their own characters, form alliances, face challenges, and experience nominations and evictions through different narratives.
Expanding globally
“Fusebox Games has demonstrated exceptional creativity and innovation in bringing popular IPs to the interactive gaming space," said Nazara CEO Nitish Mittersain.
“The launch of Big Brother: The Game aligns with our vision to expand globally and deliver engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. We are proud to support Fusebox in this exciting endeavour.”
Fusebox Games CEO Terry Lee commented: "We’re incredibly excited to bring Big Brother: The Game to players around the world.
“This is more than just a mobile game - it's a reality show experience where players shape the drama, form alliances, and fight for survival in the Big Brother house.
“The global appeal of the Big Brother franchise, combined with our interactive storytelling expertise, makes this a truly unique release.”
Nazara has been busy expanding its portfolio of games companies over the past few years, having acquired Fusebox last year in a $27.2 million deal. This week, the Indian publisher purchased UK outfit Curve Games for ₹2.47 billion ($28.9m).
