Nadia Sawalha watched as Loose Women aired the awkward question to asked Judi Love

Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha was jokingly called out by co-star Judi Love after she made an awkward faux pas on the latest Loose Women: The Podcast episode.

On Thursday (February 20), a celebratory confetti cannon went off in the studio as the panel announced the exciting new project and Kaye Adams told viewers: "After more than 25 years on your TV screens, we’re getting even looser. As if that was possible!" As she shared the news of the release of a podcast for the ITV chat show.

Loose Women: The Podcast will see a different duo take on each episode as they offer audiences an extended serving of commentary and conversation around the hottest topics and biggest issues, from news to entertainment and their own lived experiences.

The first episode went live on March 4th, with Denise Welch and Ayda Field taking on the responsibility of hosts. They teamed up to discuss addiction, surrogacy, motherhood and Hollywood crushes.

During Friday's instalment of the show, Kaye Adams couldn't wait to share the news that the second episode was already out and fronted this time by Judi Love and Nadia Sawalha.

The duo focused on conversations around body confidence and loveless marriages, but what Kaye Adams couldn't wait to share on the show was Nadia's faux pas as they discussed relationships.

As the clip aired it started with Nadia as she said to Judi: "But you've been single a lot of your life" which prompted a hilarious reaction from Judi.

Nadia cleared the air by adding: "I didn't mean it like that" as the pair laughed, as she continued: "you might have something different to say" in terms of being in a relationship.

On her own relationships, Judi explained: "I came out of a longer term relationship and I learned so much. I think, you know, because I had my children, I was a single parent. I was very conscious about dating and bringing new men around the children, because I just was more frightened of making the same mistake again.

"That breakup was really hard, you think in your head, ‘You can have children, get married, it's going to work out’ and it doesn't go that way [and] you can beat yourself up, and I've let go of that guilt. It didn't work, but I've got two amazing children."

Sharing their own advice, Nadia said: "Something I always say to somebody when I think they really are in a bad relationship, I will say ‘You think you haven't got the strength to leave because you're using all of it to stay’. If you leave, the amount of energy you will find… It's incredibly hard work to stay with somebody that isn't good for you and it wears you down."

As the panel watched the clip they burst into laughter as Nadia added that she meant Judi hasn't been married.

Loose Women airs on weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
