Mum takes step towards dream holiday after winning thousands on The Chase trucc

   

A woman who lives in Blackburn can now fulfil her dream of a trip to the USA after winning a share of a £12,000 prize on The Chase.

Hannah, 27, joked she went "over to the dark side" when she moved down the M65 from Burnley to Blackburn when introducing herself to presenter Bradley Walsh.

On the episode which aired this evening (February 11) she told Bradley that her husband was a huge Elvis fan and that he had "got her on that train" as well, so would use the prize money to go on a trip to Memphis.

Hannah took on Shaun Wallace (Image: ITV) The mum-of-one, who works as a research and development scientist, got four questions out of nine correct in her quick-fire round against chaser Shaun Wallace, adding £4,000 to the prize fund.

When going head to head with 'The Dark Destroyer', Hannah secured the £4,000 by getting five out of eight questions correct.

In the final chase, Shaun needed to get 16 questions correct but only managed 13 in the allotted time, after Hannah and her two remaining contestants managed three pushbacks.

This meant she along with contestants Neil, from Mansfield, and Sarah, from Worcester, each secured a share of £12,000.

Hannah and husband Kyle, along with six-month-old son Archie, are now a huge step closer to achieving their trip to the States.
