The RHONJ cast member has been hosting her On Display with Melissa Gorga since 2021 and will now focus on other ventures.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga revealed some big news on July 10 when she confirmed that she's decided to step away from her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga.
Melissa, who started hosting the podcast in 2021, confirmed the career pivot and revealed that she now plans to focus on her other ventures. "As we wrap up this latest season, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of you. Your support over the past four seasons has meant the world to me. Each episode, every comment, and all your feedback have fueled my passion and made this journey truly unforgettable," she wrote. "However, I need to share some news with you. After much reflection, I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from the podcast."
Her husband, Joe Gorga, was frequently a guest on the show as the couple often shared insights into their marriage and family. Melissa also hosted other Bravolebs, pop culture figures, and other notable guests on the podcast where she covered a variety of subjects and topics from relationships to health and everything in between.
Melissa elaborated a bit more on the decision to step away from the podcast in a video she posted to Instagram (below) as well as the July 10 episode on the show in an episode titled, "So Long, Farewell."
What does Melissa Gorga do for a living?
In her Instagram post, Melissa noted that she planned to dedicate more time to her sprinkle cookie business, Let’s Sprinkle by MG, as well as her Envy Boutiques, and, of course, her family now that the podcast is ending.
"I’ve recently embarked on an exciting new venture with [Let’s Sprinkle by MG] and it’s demanding my full attention, amongst other things that are coming. Balancing both has become a challenge [and] let's not forget about 2 locations of [Envy and] online store, 3 kids and a Joe!"
What's next for Melissa Gorga after her podcast?
Melissa's statement went on to note that "I believe that focusing on this new path will allow me to grow and innovate in ways I’ve always dreamed of."
She continued: "I want to assure you that this decision wasn’t easy. I will cherish the memories we’ve created together, and I am so proud of the community we’ve built. Thank you for being a part of my journey, for your understanding, and for the endless encouragement you’ve shown me."
She went on to say that there's always a chance she could make a return to the podcast space someday. "Though I may be stepping away from the mic, I will carry all of your support with me as I dive into this new adventure. I hope to return someday, but until then, keep shining and spreading joy, just like the sprinkle cookies I’ll be baking!" she wrote. "Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. Wishing you all the best! Love U."
