It comes after the Duchess of Sussex, 43, left fans stunned when she made a surprise appearance in New York last night.

The mum-of-two greeted a group of her shocked followers at a private members' club on the evening of her new Netflix show launch.

The supporters were attending the event for 'With Love, Meghan' in a screening room at Ludlow House, a Soho House club in Manhattan's Lower East Side.

They watched the opening episode in the exclusive venue and moments later, were then filmed on Meghan's public Instagram story looking rather shocked when she walked into the room.

The group had been following Meghan since the days of her now-defunct lifestyle blog The Tig and proudly showed off what appeared to be transfer tattoos that read 'As Ever'.

Alongside the snap of Meghan’s new inking, she attached the hashtag ‘#aseverforever’.

Meghan’s new ‘tattoo’ comes just months after Prince Harry was filmed ‘getting an inking’ in a skit with American singer Jelly Roll as they promoted the Invictus Games.

During the build-up to the Invictus Games in Canada, footage was shared at New York tattoo parlour East Side Ink, as Harry squealed as he sat in the chair and got a fake inking.

Not only this, but at Meghan’s lavish Netflix event, fans also had special bottles of Tignanello wine, which inspired The Tig name.

To celebrate the show’s launch, Meghan's husband Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, made her a handwritten card along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

It read: 'Congratulations mumma! We love your show, and we love you!' and was signed by 'Lili, Archie [and] Papa.'

The former Suits actress also posted the video of her appearance at the watchalong event with the caption: 'A surprise in the Big Apple tonight.'

In the short video, just moments before the big reveal, Meghan was heard saying: 'They don't know I'm coming.’

It comes as...

  • Meghan Markle's new show, Meghan, With Love, was released on Netflix today
  • The series begins with an emotional Meghan fawning over bees and honey
  • In one episode, the Duchess of Sussex makes bacon and jokes: 'My bacon brings all the boys to the yard'
  • She also corrects pal Mindy Kaling calling her 'Markle' - insisting her surname is 'Sussex'
  • The Duchess goes onto share a touchy feely moment with Prince Harry, who appears briefly
  • Meghan adds bizarre items to 'children's party bags' from Manuka honey sticks to gardening tools
  • In one bizarre moment, Meghan gets flustered and tells guest Alice Waters 'I feel like you're watching me fall in love' while eating a turnip
  • She also lets loose on a hike, dancing with a pal while out on a dog walk
  • Fans slam show 'the fakest stuff ever' as they find identical recipes online

And just seconds later, Meghan popped out from a side door to surprise the room full of people who had just finished watching the screening.

As she entered the room, Meghan asked the amazed women: 'What'd you guys think?'.

Meghan’s surprise public appearance comes alongside the launch of her new lifestyle series.

The show is the second Netflix collaboration for the Sussexes, who signed a lucrative multi-million pound deal with the streaming giant back in 2020.

What do we know about Meghan Markle's new cooking show, With Love, Meghan?

MEGHAN Markle's new Netflix documentary trailer shows her cooking with Hollywood pals.

The Duchess of Sussex gave fans an insight into her show, With Love, Meghan, which airs soon.

There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg's various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet "elevated", food.

A montage of various clips in the nearly two-minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.

She was also filmed browsing florists, hand-selecting beautiful flowers for table arrangements, showing off her creative side.

The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.

In the exciting new trailer, Meghan shared: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.

"Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them.

"I'm going to share some little tips and tricks. I see what colour I gravitate to, and everything goes from there. And how you incorporate these practices every day.

"This is about connecting with friends... I love that we're doing this together for the first time. Making new friends... and just learning.

"We're not in the pursuit of perfection. We're in the pursuit of joy. I have to get it totally wrong, to get it totally right."

The trailer showcased many "candid" moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate.

Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.

It comes after Meghan recently renamed her lifestyle brand As Ever, switching from the name American Riviera Orchard after facing trademark issues.

And her social media stories, which were shared to her two million followers, appear just days after she gave an exclusive interview to US magazine People ahead of the launch of her Netflix show.

Meghan told People: “I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out, and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It's a learning curve.”

Not only this, but she also described how there were “tons of twists and turns - even with the name”, as she added: “I was figuring it out in real-time”.

Additionally, Meghan also explained how she had found making the series “super joyful”, as she explained: “As a woman, a mum and a wife, to be able to find yourself again ... is a wonderful feeling.”

She even shared how her son Archie told her: “Mama, don't work too hard” as he was sleeping next to her in bed.

With Love, Meghan is a natural extension of The Tig, which was started in 2014 as a place to share her favourite food and travel discoveries.

Meghan announced she was shutting down the blog in 2017 as her relationship with Prince Harry, 40, progressed - ahead of their wedding in May 2018.

Speaking ahead of the show's release, which is now available to watch on Netflix, Meghan claimed that the eight-part series had helped her to “find herself” again.

But despite her strong following on social media, she insisted she instead saw herself as a “female founder” and “entrepreneur” rather than an influencer.
