Marvel Star Shocks Fans With Candid Statement About Joining ‘Dancing With the Stars’ trucc

Many celebrities have expressed their interest in joining “Dancing With the Stars” if the reality TV dancing competition were to ask them. Fans have also thrown a few names into the mix, including “Summer House” star Ciara Miller, “The Traitors” star Dylan Efron (and younger brother to Zac Efron), and retired NFL player Jason Kelce. But could a Marvel Universe alum also be wanting to show off his dancing skills and compete for the Mirrorball Trophy?

 Marvel Universe Actor Shares Interest in ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Tom Hiddleston is a fantastic actor, and his career is on the rise. He has been busy with Marvel Studios in recent years and appeared in several films as the character Loki. This includes “Thor,” “Avengers Assemble,” and “Avengers: Endgame.” But could he be adding to his lengthy resume with a stint on reality TV?

“Yes, it’s in the mix,” Hiddleston told Parade in an interview on June 3, or potentially joining DWTS. “I love dancing. I danced a little bit in some productions in the theater, but I’ve never danced this kind — with this freedom and precision and agility and technique.” The publication described Hiddleston’s tone when answering the question as lighthearted, so perhaps he is not seriously considering the competition, but he would be a fantastic competitor if he did!

 Can Tom Hiddleston Dance?

Hiddleston revealed in his interview that he has some background in dance. However, in his latest film, “The Life of Chuck,” an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel and directed by Mike Flanagan, he got to put his skills to the test!

He stars as character Charles “Chuck” Krantz, and there are scenes that show off his dance skills. The person behind the choreography was Mandy Moore, who has also worked with DWTS, Parade reports. “Because Mandy’s so clever, she would encourage me to freestyle and say, ‘This is you, Tom. This is your dance as well, so anything that comes out of you that feels joyful, that feels spontaneous, that feels free, let’s do that,’” Hiddleston told Parade. “It was just magic from start to finish. It was one of the happiest experiences of my working life, ever.”

Audiences will be able to see more of Hiddleston’s moves in the film, which had a limited premiere on June 6 and a wider release on June 13.

If Hiddleston does sign on for Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” he would be in good company, as currently wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and social media star and model Alix Earle have been confirmed.
