On tonight’s “Married to Medicine” season premiere, fans are introduced to Phaedra Parks and Greg Lunceford’s fiancee’ Lateasha.

First, Phaedra says she’s dating a doctor. However, he’s yet to show his face on the show.

Next, Dr. Greg moved Lateasha into his home which is the one he shared with Quad. Lateasha put her own spin on the place and is laying claim to her man.

The couple hosts their engagement party with the cast as guests.

Things get testy when Dr. Heavenly asks if Lateasha’s ever been called a gold digger and the women bring up Quad.

Phaedra Parks says she is dating a doctor.

Phaedra makes her debut on the show. She invites Heavenly and Jackie to the shot launch of her clothing store. In a green screen interview, she says she may not be married to medicine but she is dating a doctor. She says “Dr. O” is a Nigerian pediatric cardiologist. Producers show photos of Phaedra smiling next to a man whose face is covered up with emojis. He likely did not sign consent for his likeness to be used on the show.

They discuss Quad. Heavenly thinks she’s been cold as of late because some of the ladies said they think she slept with a married man.

Alaura’s going to prom and college which makes Dr. Heavenly sad.

In other news, Dr. Heavenly’s daughter Alaura is a High School Senior, and Heavenly’s sad about it. Alaura decided to attend FAMU, Dr. Heavenly’s alma mater. However, Heavenly wants Alaura closer to home. Despite this, she’s happy for her youngest baby.

Alaura’s also getting ready for prom and Dr. Heavenly takes her shopping for a prom dress.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group has been hanging out with Dr. G and his fiancee Lateasha aka Sweet Tea. Sweet Tea invites the group to her hoe down at her house. The theme is homage to her being from a small town in Texas.

Jackie and Heavenly already have plenty of shade to throw. Jackie questions if Gregory met Lateasha while he babysat her. Heavenly says Greg’s house looked better when Quad paid a decorator to handle things. She’s not impressed by Tea’s tastes.

Regardless, Tea’s biggest supporter of the night is her fraternal sister Kaneasha. She says they have been best friends since birth.

Lateasha’s frustrated when the women bring up Quad at her and Greg’s engagement party.

During the party, the ladies get to know Lateasha and ask her questions. Things get awkward when Dr. Heavenly asks Lateasha what she likes most about being engaged to Greg. Lateasha says the access to Greg’s money is what she likes the most. The ladies are taken aback by the answer.

She then says she hasn’t been called a gold digger when asked by Dr. Heavenly.

To make things worse, Toya brings up Quad and says she has a recent DUI. She asks Phaedra if she’s assisting Quad in fighting that case. Lateasha shuts down the conversation, telling them that they are not going to discuss Quad in her presence.

Jackie and Simone do not like Heavenly discussing Simone referring Lateasha to another specialist for fibroids and this causes an argument. The Husbands, who are outside hanging out, rush in. But as they do, Lateasha’s sister lays down the law, quieting down the ladies.

Lastly, the episode ends with Greg and Lateasha heading to the courthouse to become legally married two weeks before their wedding ceremony. Lateasha’s stressed and didn’t like how the ladies made their event about Quad.

Despite this, they receive their marriage certificate and celebrate with a kiss.
