
On the latest episode of “Married to Medicine,” the couples’ trip to Key West takes a turn after tension forms between Gregory and King. Here are the highlights for, “Trouble on the Sandbar.”
Everyone reflects on Gregory and Quad’s blowup.
Quad and Gregory discuss the previous blowup that took place during the couples’ game with their partners. Gregory apologizes to Sweet Tea for getting loud with her. He just wanted her to stop arguing with Quad. Quad tells King she believes Gregory is still in love with her. He’s jealous of their relationship because Sweet Tea is just a “stand-in.”
Meanwhile, Mimi tells Toya she lit the spark that caused the chaos. Toya questions how she caused Quad to clash with Sweet Tea and Gregory. Mimi feels like Toya saying it was awkward to see Quad and Gregory bring their partners around each other only made things worse. Toya says she was just saying what everyone else was thinking.
Apollo and his wife aren’t feeling Phaedra’s choice of a new boo.
Quad gets petty in her green screen interview and asks Phaedra how she feels about having her ex and their spouse in the group.
Heavenly learns Apollo and Sharon take issue with Phaedra dating Cheick because they are friends. Phaedra tells producers she didn’t know Cheick and Apollo were friends until Cheick told her recently.
Gregory and King try to hash it out.
The men try to move forward after Quad and Greg’s situation. Greg wants King to know he didn’t mean any disrespect to Quad or him. But Quad was drunk and he didn’t like her speaking on his marriage. He didn’t handle it the best way. They have a past and it wasn’t pretty. He told her she talks “too ******* much.”
Sherien and Apollo confront Cheick for dating Phaedra. They say he is considered family and even comes around on holidays. Phaedra calls Sherien bad-built and refuses to defend her dating choices to her. Sherien says Apollo doesn’t care about Phaedra. Cheick also doesn’t understand why he needed to say anything to Apollo. Phaedra becomes irritated and she and Cheick walk away as the drama intensifies.
Chaos erupts.
Sweet Tea calls out Heavenly for inviting Apollo and Sherien. This leads to her and Heavenly nearly coming to blows.
Gregory says he doesn’t want to talk to Quad. He just wants her to stop speaking on him and his marriage. King says Quad can say what she wants and Gregory doesn’t think this is fair. Tempers flare and King tries to put his hands on Gregory. The episode ends with the other men trying to keep a fight from happening.
