Married at First Sight UK couple Tasha and Paul have announced they have split after trying to make their relationship work for a few months but in the end 'grew apart'.
Married At First Sight UK's Tasha and Paul both returned on screen despite announcing their breakup before filming the show's reunion.
The couple, who met on the E4 reality show, had been the last remaining pair from their season still together, alongside Matt and Shona.
In separate statements, they confirmed their split, citing that they weren't right for each other. Tasha wrote: "It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Paul and I have decided to part ways.
"There isn't any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other. Paul is the loveliest guy I've ever met, and I'm grateful for the time we've shared together and I'm glad that we can remain friends.
"I'm utterly heartbroken that I'm having to write this post, but it is best for both of us. Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple. I hope you can now support us on our individual journeys."
Meanwhile, Paul stated: "It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Tasha and I have decided to part ways. There isn't any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other.
"Tasha is the most loving and caring woman I've ever met, and I'm grateful for the time we've shared together and I'm glad that we can remain friends.
"I'm utterly heartbroken that I'm having to write this post, but it is best for both of us. Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple. I hope you can now support us on our individual journeys."
A source told the Daily Mail that Tasha and Paul, who found love on Married at First Sight UK, have called it quits after struggling to envision a shared future due to living apart.
The insider revealed: "Tasha and Paul tried to make their relationship work for several months but have decided to end things between them."
They added, "They fell in love while filming Married at First Sight UK but struggled to see a future, they continued to live separately and in the end, grew apart."
Speaking to The Daily Mail, Paul opened up about their breakup, explaining that he had doubts about relocating for Tasha. He said: "My issue was figuring out if Tasha was the right person to move up North for."
He further commented, "I'd say if we lived in London it might be easier, but to sacrifice my life and drop everything for her is a big move and I just wasn't sure about it. And that was the issue."
Paul also mentioned Tasha's strong family ties: "Tasha is extremely close with her family. She has all her nephews and nieces, which she loves. I had my family and my friends, and I'm always busy with boxing."
He concluded with a note of regret, "I think if there was a middle ground, but we just couldn't figure it out, which was kind of sad."
