Despite her relatable pregnancy struggles, Madison LeCroy is feeling pretty grateful these days. And it’s thanks in large part to Brett Randle.
The Southern Charm mom gushed over her husband on Sunday, June 15, sharing the sweetest Father’s Day tribute for the dad-to-be. Madison’s post came as she and Brett prepare to welcome their first child together, a daughter named Teddi.
“In just a few weeks, we get to see you step into the role you were always meant for… girl dad,” she captioned the Story. “Teddi’s already the luckiest. We both are. Love you. Happy Father’s Day!”
The photo captured Brett sitting in what appeared to be a medical clinic, smiling from ear to ear while holding Madison’s sonogram. It’s unclear when the photo was taken, but the second and final ultrasound is typically performed during the second trimester.
Madison LeCroy honors her dad ahead of her due date: "The original Teddy..."
Madison announced her pregnancy back in February and shared the baby’s name just a day later, well before she and Brett confirmed the baby’s sex. The South Carolina native went on to tell fans she was naming her child after her dad, Ted LeCroy, who died in late 2023.
“You guys know I recently lost my dad, and I will be naming my baby after him,” she said. “So, girl or boy, the name is going to work, and I’m super excited about that. I’m really pumped.”
Madison also honored her dad, Ted, with a heartwarming Father’s Day post.
“Happy Father’s Day to the original Teddy!” she captioned the Story. “We miss you so much.”
The post included photos and videos of Ted at Madison and Brett’s 2022 wedding. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico surrounded by their loved ones, including Madison’s now-12-year-old son, Hudson, from a previous marriage.
Madison LeCroy shares an update on Brett Randle's cancer recovery
Roughly a year after the wedding, Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent surgery to remove a three-centimeter nodule from his throat. Madison confirmed that the procedure was a success, and subsequent tests showed the “cancer [was] gone.”
Madison addressed Brett’s recovery on the Southern Charm After Show, saying she was ready to try for baby No. 2 now that her hubby was healthy.
“Listen, I’m trying to have a kid every chance I can get. It’s really fun, actually,” Madison said. “But, now that Brett’s healthy, yeah. We’re excited… I’m excited, and I know for a fact that Brett’s going to be a great dad. And that’s what makes me excited. Like this experience, based off of my first experience, I have a whole new outlook on it.”
Madison, Brett, and Hudson recently moved into a bigger home in Charleston. See how the family is settling into their new house before Madison’s fast-approaching due date.
