Madison LeCroy Explains Why She Doesn't Keep Her Pool Covered After Welcoming Baby Daughter Teddi, Says She's 'Aware of the Risks' tram

Madison LeCroy is explaining why her pool currently doesn't have any safety features in place.

The Southern Charm star, 34, shared a photo of her Instagram Stories after she got a comment from a follower about her uncovered pool. The user originally wrote, "Please get a safety fence or pool cover" in response to a photo LeCroy had posted of her backyard pool.

"I totally get the concern, but just to clear it up by the time Teddi is crawling, all the safety measures will be in place," LeCroy wrote in her statement. "It's summer, so no, we're not putting a cover on the pool right now. And just like I did with Hudson, we'll be starting swim lessons at 6 months to a year."

"I promise we're very aware of the risks and will make it as safe as possible. I just don't want to have to explain this every time I post a pool photo," the mom of two added.

LeCroy welcomed her second baby, her first with her husband Brett Randle, on Saturday, June 29, announcing the exciting news during an Amazon Live. The couple's newest addition joins big brother Hudson, whom LeCroy shares with ex-husband Josh Hughes.

On July 13, the reality TV star shared adorable snaps of her newborn daughter Teddi, her husband Randle and her son Hudson as she welcomed her baby home after a two-week stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

"We’re finally home… all together. 🤍 After 2 weeks of back and forth to the NICU, today we brought our sweet Teddi girl home and I truly don’t have the words (but I’ll try)," she wrote. "Watching Hudson hold his baby sister, seeing Brett step into this role with so much love, and just standing in my doorway with my arms full and my heart even fuller… this is it."

"This is the life I’ve prayed for, dreamed of, and now finally get to live," she continued. "She’s home, we’re whole, and I’ve never felt more at peace. 🥹✨."

LeCroy first announced she was pregnant and expecting her second baby in February 2025, a rep for the couple confirmed exclusively with PEOPLE at the time. The reality TV star told PEOPLE she was "shocked" to learn about her pregnancy.

"Honestly, when Brett and I were making this plan of growing our family, I was like, 'Okay, we've got to make this as easy as possible,'" she shared. "So, I actually started using the Clearblue ovulation test, and I got a smiley face. Once we got the smiley face, we were like, 'Okay, it's go time,' and it instantly happened."

"I was shocked, I thought I had all summer long, but it happened and I felt actually pretty great other than some minor headaches," LeCroy continued. "But other than that, just eating all the food and enjoying myself."
