There was news of a Love Island dumping on the ITV2 series on Thursday night, the second of the series so far, but a cliffhanger meant the exit was cut from the latest episode
There was a big decision to make for two Islanders on Love Island on Thursday night.
A cliffhanger brought an abrupt end to a rather brutal recoupling. There were some surprises and some new couples, before a final blow was dealt for more than one contestant.
It was the girls' turn to pick a boy to couple up with, after the arrival of two bombshells. As proceedings got underway, many of the couples switched up with new pairings revealed, and some expected couples not making the cut.
After all the girls had picked their men, there were two boys still not chosen and without girls. There were no more girls either given Sophie Lee's exit earlier this week.
With that came another shocking announcement that the Islanders did not see coming at all. It led to a big choice needing to be made as Blu and Shea were the last men standing.
While Shea was new to the show, fans didn't think it would be him who gets axed after Blu's antics on the show - despite it being the boys who had to choose. Blu and Shea had to come to an agreement with each other who would leave then and there in scenes already filmed but cut from the latest episode.
Rather awkwardly both men declared they were going nowhere, refusing to sacrifice their place on the show. Blu refused to leave, with Shea agreeing he was going nowhere too.
The Islanders watched on awkwardly as both men refused to back down. Taking to X, fans suggested it was Blu who would be sent packing very soon in one way or another.
Taking to X, one fan said: "Blu’s about to be dumped in the recoupling isn’t he? I can’t take this." Another said: "Blu might get dumped," as a third commented: "Blu might be getting dumped. No one wants him."
A further comment read: "Karma is gonna slap Blu straight in the forehead when he gets dumped." Another fan said: "Blu gave the girls the ick with how he talked on the first day to Alima and now he's probably getting dumped off the island."
Earlier this week, viewers predicted which former Love Island star could be set to enter the famous second villa, Casa Amor later this series. After Sophie Lee was axed from the show on Tuesday night in a brutal dumping, after her partner Harry was stolen by Shakira, fans were quick to predict she might be back very soon.
Taking to X, fans guessed the twist would happen with one fan writing: "I reckon Sophie will re-enter the villa as a bombshell by the end of next week at the latest or she will re-enter in Casa Amor." Another said: "Dw Sophie you’ll be back in 4 weeks for Casa Amor."
A third viewer begged: "Nah bring Sophie back for Casa Amor she deserves a chance." A fourth fan agreed: "Bring her back for casa amor!!" as a fifth viewer posted: "Gutted for her and bring back Sophie as a bombshell or Casa Amor."
The comments kept on coming with one reading: "They better bring Sophie back as a Casa bombshell. Justice for Sophie." Another said: "BRING SOPHIE BACK FOR CASA AMOR!"
