Love Island fans spot ‘exact moment’ that gave away Hugo and Jess were set to split weeks before he snogged another girl ngocc

LOVE Island fans are convinced they knew that Hugo and Jess would split weeks before he was spotted kissing another woman.

Viewers remembered a scene shortly after Casa Amor where Hugo, 24, admitted Jess, 25, had given him the ‘ick’ and they think the pair never recovered from that.

One person remarked: “Did y’all forget Hugo got the ick from Jess after Casa? Cos to me it was obvious there was nothing there before they were even dumped.”

A second said:  “The explanation they gave on how they resolve the ick convo was a dead giveaway.”

While a third added: “Yeah he was done in the villa but chickened out telling her.”

Electrician Hugo initially swept Jess off her feet in Casa Amor and she ditched Trey to be with him.

But after getting in the main villa, Hugo told Ayo: "I haven't felt myself the last day and a half. I think maybe the way things are going with me and Jess I feel like conversation is a bit dry.

"When I meet someone and it clicks, it clicks, you shouldn't have to feel like you have to go and talk to someone.

"It's a harsh thing to say but it's a boredom thing. I don't want to lead the girl on, I really done. I feel like I've sold her the dream, that's not what I wanted to do. I tried to pursue it. I've not faked anything bro, I wanted it to work."

Jess later inisisted his comments weren’t an issue and had been resolved.

She said: "We actually had numerous conversations after Hugo's chat with Ayo and we were good. That's why I'm not feeling a certain way about it because I'd moved on from it. I was aware of it but obviously, when it's not shown, you have to come out and answer a lot of questions.”

"Me and Hugo spent so much time together, but that didn't get aired. Let's all remember it's a TV show we're asked to have certain conversations, which are going to potentially cause drama, so when you start saying, 'Actually, I'm happy doing what I'm doing with the person I'm coupled up with,' it doesn't make for good TV."

The pair appeared to stay together after being dumped from the villa and looked like a coupe when they attended the live final on Monday evening in Majorca.

However, despite vowing to make it work on the outside it appears that things are now firmly over between the pair after The Sun revealed Hugo had been caught snogging another Love Island star - Charlotte Sumner

An onlooker told The Sun: "Hugo and Charlotte could not keep their hands off each other all night.

"It was clear that they only had eyes for each other and didn't care who was watching as they enjoyed a slew of snogs on the dancefloor.

"They even found a quiet corner of the packed bar to have another passionate kiss - it made it pretty obvious that Hugo and Jess are very much over but she is still bound to be stunned to see he has moved on so quickly."
