Love Island: All Stars has come to a close after weeks of firepit flirting and awkward re-couplings, but fans have taken to social media to make the same comment about the final.
Love Island's All Stars final for 2025 is underway on ITV2, with the two remaining couples hoping for a second chance at the win.
Hosted by Maya Jama, tonight's finale sees Casey O'Gorman and Gabby Allen, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, Elma Pazar and Sammy Root, Curtis Pritchard and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and finally Grace Jackson and Luca Bish face the last public vote.
As the couples are picked off throughout the extra-long final, fans were given chance to pick their 2025 All Stars winners, who'll receive £50,000 between them.
While the final is now underway, Love Island fans have taken to social media to share the same complaint about the special episode, with many saying that the episode is going on too long - and that the final has featured "the worst final two" in the history of the show.
So far in the competition, Sammy and Elma have been announced in fifth place, with Catherine and Omar following next, while Ekin-Su and Curtis came in third. This leaves Gabby and Casey as well as Grace and Luca as the two remaining couples.
Some fans weren't too happy with the results, with one writing: "I'm literally gagged. These are the WORST FINAL 2 IN THE HISTORY OF LOVE ISLAND #LoveIslandAllStars." Another wrote: "Hopefully the next love island series will be better. im signing out for this year absolutely disappointed #LoveIslandAllStars."
A third wrote: "This series of Love Island All Stars has been dire. I can say that with absolute authority as I’ve been rewatching every series from the start during night feeds." Meanwhile, others complained that the final was too long. "Can we just announce the winner so I can go to bed please. It’s been on for 50 mins and we’ve only got to 5th place!!! #loveisland #loveislandallstars," one viewer wrote.
When intimate conversations between the final couples were aired earlier in the night, one viewer tweeted: "Can we skip this bit soo unnecessary watching these forced conversations #LoveIslandAllStars." "Cba for this, just announce the winners xx #loveislandallstars," a third said.
Ahead of the Love Island final, texts allegedly sent by finalist Grace Jackson came to light on social media after Sunday's episode saw Olivia Hawkins accused her of saying that she would do anything to win the show in a text to an unnamed person.
In messages shared around social media, someone who is reportedly Grace texts: "I am being dead serious we can bet on it. I will win this." While a second says: "I’ll do anything to..I can with this time gurl. In it to win it babe."
Last night's episode proved to be dramatic for the ITV2 show, with Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint being axed just hours before the final. The 12 remaining islanders saw the axed contestants return to choose which couple shouldn't make it to the final, with the majority choosing Harriett and Ronnie.
After their exit, Ronnie opened up about the finalists on Amy Hart's The Morning After podcast, sharing that he would have sent Ekin-Su and Curtis packing if it were up to him.
"Just for like, the whole journey and like, the last week or so, you've just made her your girlfriend. I just didn't think that was the time to do it. Like we've seen the whole thing, they'd have to be my vote, because I think the other couples are stronger," he said.
Meanwhile, Casey was reportedly rushed to medics just hours before the final after suffering a nasty head injury and briefly passing out during a break in the villa.
A source told The Sun: "All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him."
