“Love Is Blind” star Stacy Snyder said she’s “happy” while coming out as queer and debuting her new girlfriend on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Snyder, who starred in Season 5 of the hit Netflix dating show, shared an Instagram video of herself at a wine bar.
“She’s single again. She’s got a boyfriend. She’s irrelevant,” read text that appeared in the clip, set to the tune of Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s new song, “Guess.”
At the end of the video, a woman came into the shot and gave Snyder a kiss on the lips as the text read, “She’s happy.”
“Surprise! #,” she captioned the post.
The reality star noted on her Instagram Story that she was “scared s–tless” to come out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
“I’m literally speechless. I was not expecting that,” she said of fans’ positive reception to her reveal. “I was actually fully expecting hate, a lot of it. I always get a lot of hate … but anyway, it was just really nice. [A] freaking nice change, so thank you. I love y’all.”
Snyder also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of the couple holding hands on a plane.
“One of us wanted the early morning flight and the other did not,” she wrote on the picture.
Snyder gained recognition when she starred as one of the singles hoping to find love in Season 5 of “Love Is Blind” in 2023.
During the show, she fell for Izzy Zapata, who proposed to her in the pods before ever seeing what she looked like.

When the couple was tasked with living together, things in their relationship took a turn for the worse when Snyder found out her then-fiancé was not being truthful about his finances days before they were set to walk down the aisle.
Though the “Perfect Match” star said “I do” to Snyder at the altar, she ultimately decided to end their relationship.
“I do want you, and I want to say yes,” she told him at the altar. “But I would be doing you and I a disservice right now to say that ‘I do’ when I feel like there’s a lot [of] things we need — and more than anything, we need time.”
After the wedding, Snyder and Zapata tried to reconcile, however, they revealed during the reunion special in October 2023 that they had not spoken to each other for a year.
After appearing on Season 2 of Netflix’s “Perfect Match,” Zapata moved on with girlfriend Shelby Webb.
Earlier this year, Snyder announced she and “Married at First Sight” star Ryan Ignasiak were dating. It’s unclear when they split.
