Madison Errichiello and Casandra Barron didn’t need Love Is Blind to discover their compatibility!

The women, who participated in season 8 of the hit Netflix series, revealed that living together during the pods wasn’t the first time their paths crossed.

During an interview with MPR News on March 11, Casandra, 30, said she and Madison, 28, realized they knew each other from previously matching on a dating app.

“When we got off our flight [to go to the pods], all the girls met up at the airport, and me and Madison recognized each other,” she recalled. “I couldn't quite picture it where I had known her, and then she comes up to me at breakfast and she whispered, she goes, ‘Do you remember we matched on Hinge like a year ago?’”

“We were following each other on Instagram, so I knew that — I was like, ‘I know we're following each other on Instagram, but how?’ But we matched on Hinge the year before,” Casandra continued. ‘She's like, ‘If this doesn't work out, hit me up after!’ And now we're best friends, so it's great.”

That same day, Madison also shared the story during an appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast.

“I was just kind of nervous, like the gay panic set in,” she laughed. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, do I say something, do I not?’ I just ended up saying something. I also didn't know how comfortable she was, and so I didn't want to say anything on camera either. So I just said something I think the next day at breakfast.”

Madison, who viewers watched form connections with Alex Brown and Mason Horacek before ultimately leaving the pods alone, said she is openly bisexual and even spoke about it on the show, although those scenes never aired.

She went on to say that she suggested her and Casandra “grab a drink” if they both were still single after filming, and they did.

“She didn't get a lot of screen time — she was there for like, a day, and then she left. I mean, good for her because she was so unimpressed,” Madison noted.

Since then, things between them have stayed platonic: “She kind of had a thing. She was on and off with this one guy, and so I think when she got to the pods, she was like, ‘Oh, I miss him.’ So coming back, we just were always besties.”

Madison’s journey came to an end after she broke up with Alex when he refused to speak poorly about her other pod connection, Mason. This came after Madison discovered Mason had been him saying the same things to her and Meg Fink.

She later told PEOPLE that Alex reached out to her following their split, but it didn’t work out.

"I come out of the pods and the first message I get on my phone is from Alex, and I think he had figured out what I looked like ... Because it was on Instagram and he was like, 'Oh my f---ing God.' And I was like, 'Yeah. Regretting it now, aren't you?'" she joked. "No, I'm kidding. But he was like, 'I really want to meet up with you at the airport.' And I was like, 'Did we not just break up? That was pretty emotional for me. I don't know, maybe we should take some time.'"

Despite wanting some space, Madison met Alex at the airport, where she realized she had made the right choice in walking away from the relationship.

"It was pretty clear to me that he was not the same person that I was speaking to in the pods,” she said. “That was very obvious."
