Minneapolis may be officially known as the City of Lakes, but now that Love Is Blind Season 8 is well underway, you just might mistake it for the City of Love (apologies, Paris).
Now nine episodes and two weeks into its eighth season, there’s not much time left for our hopeful Midwestern pod squad to decide their romantic fates — and that means there are just a few weeks until the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion, when the cast, hosts, and fans will be celebrating the five-year anniversary of the show.
Of course, before it’s time to regroup and rejoice, it’s important to take an inventory of where the couples left off.
What’s happened on Love Is Blind Season 8 so far?
Episodes 7–9 premiered on Feb. 21, and though couples Taylor and Daniel, Devin and Virginia, and Monica and Joey are staying the course (and meeting the parents), there’s still major uncertainty floating in the ether for others. After several rocky conversations about Lauren’s recent (or perhaps not-so-recent) dating history, Dave’s friends don’t show up for a crucial first meeting, leaving Lauren in tears and their future uncertain.
But the biggest cliff-hanger of Episode 9 comes when Sara and Ben have to navigate the fallout from a certain viral video, proving that even though true love might be blind, it often comes with a bird’s-eye view of the past.
