The singer is entering her champagne years in style with a new man by her side
LOUISE Redknapp is looking fabulous at 50, showing off her feminine curves in a silk black ensemble, as she celebrates her milestone birthday.
The pop singer wowed her 800k followers with a series of sultry photoshoot on her social media, as she announced that her sixth decade is upon her.
After captioning her photo: “Hello Five Oh.” A slew of her fans rushed to compliment her on her ageless good looks.
One person said: “Shut the back door, happy birthday babe, haven’t aged a day.”
Another fan commented: “Five Oh and fabulous. Happy special birthday Lou, bring on 2025.”
And another person added: “50, you look 30, happy birthday.”
No doubt the singer was feeling a little nostalgic upon turning 50, as she shared a reel of the early music videos of her solo career in the mid nineties, having left Eternal, the R&B girlband that launched her, in 1995.
Since the end of her 19 year marriage to Jamie Redknapp in 2017, Louise who took a break from the spotlight to raise the couple’s two sons, Charley, 19 and Beau, 15, has been reconnecting with her inner performer.
In 2016 she reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing before releasing new music in 2020, after a 17 year hiatus and a greatest hits album then followed in 2023.
She also starred in the West End as Violet Newstead in the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5 in 2021, winning rave reviews.
Indeed the singer has also found love with her new man, Drew Michael who is nine years her junior.
The couple announced their relationship on Instagram last November and since the have been inseparable, enjoying theatreland press nights together and glamorous red carpet events.
Refreshingly perhaps to Louise, Drew has a career outside showbiz, having worked in the military as a platoon commander, he is now chief executive of an aerospace company called Overwatch Group.
The company provides military supplies to the British army and the Royal Marines.
This union marks the singer’s first relationship since her split from Jamie Redknapp, 51, who has since married model Frida Andersson with whom he has a son.
Opening up about her new romance on ITV’s Loose Women, she said: “I’m very happy. He’s great, lovely, it’s really nice,” before adding: “It’s been a really long time for me. It’s lovely to have met somebody that makes me so happy.”
No doubt Drew will oversee his famous girlfriends 50th celebrations, planned with military precision.
