As the panel discussed break ups, Janet's opinion felt a little too much for Kelly Bryan
Loose Women star Kelly Bryan jokingly left the studio after Janet Street-Porter made a "brutal" comment on relationships.
During Wednesday's (16th July) instalment, Coleen Nolan led the panel as she was joined by Brenda Edwards, Janet Street-Porter and Kelly Bryan in the studio.
After tackling topics such as the sentencing of the two men who purposefully cut down the 150-year-old Sycamore Gap tree by Hadrien's Wall, the panellists diverted onto relationships.
The ladies opened up about how they move on after a breakup. Janet reflected that she's never really cried over a man, and added: "I accept I've behaved badly, I cheated on them, so I did say, I'm sorry I cheated on you, but I think it's over."
She continued: "There have been the times where it's just kind of fizzled out. You know, like a battery and a torch runs out."
The attention then turned to Kelly, who admitted: "If I get my heart broken, it takes me a long time... I'll be sad and down, and it also takes me a long time to let them in the first place, to trust somebody.
"if they let me down, hurt me, cheat on me, or dump me, I'm devastated for a bit. It takes me a long time for me to let my walls down in the first place."
Janet then responded: "Aren't you just cross that you've messed up, you made the wrong decision?"
Kelly then joking got up from the desk and announced "I'm off!" before making her way past the audience members in the studio.
Once she sat back down, Janet admitted it was "a bit brutal", but continued: "The fact is, you've done all this lowering your walls, letting them in. And then they just turn out to be a dud. Aren't you just secretly really cross?"
Kelly replied: "No, because I question myself on my own decisions" before Coleen ended the segment and the show paused for a commercial break.
Loose Women airs on weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
