Loose Women's Janet Street-Porter joked that she felt "worn out" after presenting the newest segment on the daytime show.

During Tuesday's (July 15) instalment, Christine Lampard led the panel and was joined in the studio by Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Gloria Hunniford.

Today was a special episode for one panellist in particular, as Coleen Nolan welcomed her brother Brian Nolan onto the show.

He sat down with the panel as he discussed his prostate cancer diagnosis. He was diagnosed just months after his sister Linda Nolan passed away in January.

Brian appeared on the show back in March to urge viewers to check themselves. He said: "The word cancer is no longer a death sentence, most cancers are treated but the key is please please please have your PSA once a year and we’re going to start a campaign."

He revealed that he's been given the all clear, after catching the cancer early. Brian shared: "I got the all clear from my surgeon last Tuesday that the cancer is completely gone and my bloods are back to normal."

After his interview, Christine handed the reigns over to Janet Street-Porter for their new "feel good news" segment.

Janet faced the camera as she shared some good stories that have been in the news recently to cheer viewers up at home.

These stories included Moo Deng's first birthday - the pygmy hippopotamus from Thailand that went viral on social media for being adorable. As well as a friend group's reunion after 64 years, and an ice cream van caught in a traffic jam on the M25 giving out ice creams.

As the segment came to an end, Janet said: "Not every day is a good day, but apparently there's good in every day".

The studio then cheered for her as Coleen turned to Janet and praised her and said "you did that great, you need to have a drink". To which Janet responded: "I'm worn out" before referencing the picture of her onions growing in her garden that they showed to the audience.

Broadcaster Janet Street-Porter became a regular panellist in 2011, but after 13 years she had to depart from the show briefly to undergo and recover from a hip replacement.

At the time, she shared: "I'm having my hip replacement operation at last. And I can't think about anything else. As I'm sitting here, I'm shaking and my hands are freezing cold.'

"I keep shivering. I keep dreaming about it. When they open me up, what's gonna come out? What if they can't get it back together again?"

Loose Women airs on weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
